I was really impressed with this win. This is the farthest that any BU team has went.

Hightower is good and should be the game to see before State. However, Lancaster is the team to beat and has strengthened their lineup even more since the season began. They have a seasoned 4 year starter high major PG (A&M signee Wade Taylor). They have a couple of 6-5 wings who can go. And they have 2 6-9s and a 6-10. But I love the fight and grit of BU. I think they can play with anyone. I would love to see them slay 2 dragons on the way to their first State Championship.

We got better with Donald Trump, he wasn’t a politician, he upset folks on both sides because he wouldn’t play by either’s rules, he moved us to energy independence, he lowered our taxes, he stood up to China, he appointed excellent judges on several federal levels, he was addressing our border and illegals problem, he had the economy roaring and even achieved an incredible recovery in the midst of the pandemic, I could go on and on but the point is that he put America first and didn’t really care what either side thought about it. He was, without a doubt, a rude and crude loudmouth, but he was also, without a doubt, BETTER for this country (all demographics) that anyone we’ve seen in a long time. Too bad that so many in their pursuit of better elected an idiot that can’t be trusted with nuclear responsibilities. It’s a shame that so many complain about better but can’t recognize it when it shows up.

I was very impressed with Silsbee's young squad. Especially Botley! Her poise and court vision is exceptional! Oh and her change of pace into the crossover is elite! Yes the score was very lopsided but Botley played practically the whole game and was very poised. Bright future ahead for this young Queen, she has a very high ceiling and has next level potential.

I’m guessing an amendment to the constitution. Not easy at all. I think that the 35 y/o limit we’ve already got is probably a pretty good idea, too.

Watched first half, was really surprised to see Coldsprings in it as much as they were considering all I have been hearing about how good East Chambers was. That game would have been really interesting had Coldsprings still had their big kid. Watched him play a few times this year and he was pretty dominant in the paint. I don’t think EC would have had anyone to manage him.

You are right about this Tiger team.....however we are very young and it will be the first time dealing with a team like Yates. Now we can apply just as much pressure as they do but where we may have trouble is dealing with their pressure and still being able to apply ours. Legs will get tired and decision making of our youngsters will be tested. To most anyone it will be a surprise if we can make it a real good game. With that said i have faith in my young Tigers and know they will give it all they can. I wont be surprised to see this one either way. Unfortunately i dont know if i will even make the trip with a 5:30 start time. I would miss the first 20 minutes or so and unless i get tickets online wouldnt want to make the trip and get turned away.

Yates has a more aggressive defense, Yates will press for 32 minutes with a 18 Man Roster. It's the only way they know how to play defense, give up easy baskets to keep the flow running up and down like a track meet.

Yes Yates was exposed in their game saturday. By rules they are supposed to sit out 7 days and have to have a negative test after 5 days before participating. From what i have been told HiSD has fought to move this game to friday to try to circumvent that rule and the playoff schedule to keep yates from having to use their jv and freshmen. Now anyone knows that i am anti big city schools and what goes on there as far as transfers etc. But i will say i hate to see this covid crap messing up anyones season, but the rules set should be what is followed. No exceptions should be made. Would it have been fair in our district to have let us reschedule our games after you were forced to forfeit yours?
