Nice congratulations I feel like 21-3A baseball is one of the top baseball districts in the state, central Heights, Diboll, and now Huntington making deep runs. When did Central Heights last make it to state tournament? Did they win it all with Grayson Rodriguez? Diboll had deep run in 21-22 coming just short of state title game. And Huntington has had a heck of a run past 2 seasons Finish it out Huntington

Yes they are, I believe entire JH boys 7-8 went undefeated in district play, they had a 2-3 freshman on varsity getting some experience, future looks bright. Huntington def was the best team in district

Getting away from Diboll

Diboll is rather young and I believe one senior starting. Return everyone next year but 3.

I agree, I’m not from Cleveland area but have seen the explosive growth and development in that area. I don’t have to describe it, you all are familiar and if it’s a generational thing, then time will have to be a mitigating factor where 2nd and 3rd gen’s will have to close the gap, but as you said much harder in the upper classifications. The Hispanics in Diboll are definitely not 1st gen

I didn’t mention state tournament appearances by both baseball and softball just a few years ago. Like someone said, you must have parents involved and a system in place that will foster positive growth and opportunities

I’m pretty sure their big #88 DE was seriously injured (knee) last game vs Diboll. Huge loss for them if that was a season ending injury
