  1. I think Diboll would have their hands full with either Hitchcock or LRA. Diboll has at least played once vs LRA couple years ago and don’t think they have any history vs Hitchcock. LRA qb play looks solid as does their line play. Is that the same QB LRA had in 2021? LRA looked like the better coached team tonight and wanted it more. Diboll has Buna and their focus is on them. Maybe they’ll get a shot at LRA
  2. The score is surprising, I saw this one 28-14 in kvilles favor
  3. Kirbyville started off hot this year, but saw what shepherd was capable of. Isn’t this the 1/4 seed game?
  4. Diboll should remain 3aD1, reporting 500, about 30 less than last cycle
  5. Ive seen both coldspring and shepherd. I think Trojans defense will do enough to contain the shepherd run game. If Trojans can limit penalties and turnovers they win this one. They probably beat Diboll had they not had drive killers
  6. Ok I’m not losing my mind, the kid has ridiculous speed
  7. One thing Coldspring isn’t lacking is size, those boys are big! Seems like #8, I think that’s the number, one with long hair, has been there for 5 years! Wasn’t he QB one year?
  8. Coldspring had not been shut out since 2019 by Diboll… not often you see a 3-0 final score game
  9. Don’t know what to say, Coldspring came to play and Diboll rode the back of their defense again with a shutout.
  10. Diboll might have something to say about being the district champion. They’ve still got to play Coldspring but they already beat Woodville and Westwood
  11. Was it Kville that Coach Alvarez coached at before he left for Ennis I believe?
  12. If woodville is healthy I’ll give them the edge, they’ve had a stronger schedule and are battle tested. Give me woodville 28-24
  13. That WW QB is a freshman, he’s a coach’s kid Diboll has a bye week next week then travel to shepherd
  14. I’ll have to give the edge to Westwood just because of their defense. Had the Westwood QB not turned it over 3 times, this score could have been much different. Diboll’s D had much to do with those turnovers and WW’s turnovers on downs. But I was impressed with their defense, they definitely closed the gap some from previous years. Although they did have a couple weeks to prepare for Diboll with their bye week last week. Not sure if they’re a young team overall but if they are, lookout for them next couple years.
  15. If Diboll can just get their offense going they’ll be a tough out for anyone. I know Westwood has been scoring a ton but Diboll kept them out of the end zone and were able to get some key turnovers. Held woodville to 6 and WW to 3 is impressive
  16. I don’t think it’ll be video streamed but you can get the audio stream at www.dibolllumberjacks.com
  17. Westwood has been lighting up the scoreboard this season. They travel to Diboll for another key district matchup. If Diboll can make a few stops, I like their chances. Westwood will score some but can their defense keep Diboll out of the end zone enough to win?
  18. I would agree, not sure if Westwood has had the most difficult pre district schedule, while Diboll has, they have played Madisonville 5-0, Franklin, 5-0, and Kirbyville, 4-1. They have been tested. Diboll’s two losses are to Madisonville and Franklin, and not blow outs either. Diboll will be ready
