Beasley’s green onion is a great one. For pan sausage, Owens is my favorite. I love the rare times I can get my wife to make spaghetti and use hamburger and a pound of Owens Hot pan sausage mixed in. She hates the hot 😢. Market Basket Pepper Jack Cheese boudin is good too.

Something I really love is Sausage. Pan sausage, Breakfast sausage links and my ever favorite, smoked "rope" sausage. What's y'all's favorite? I'm mainly talking about the store bought variety, but go ahead and tell us what you like. I really like Harrington's (Medium, Spicy, green onion, creole, you name it...) in Gumbo, on the smoker, in the oven, it's all good!. I love me some Zummo's links too, but never in gumbo - on a grill/smoker or in a skillet. Beasley's is good too! We've got a lot of local smokehouses that put out some good stuff. Surprisingly enough, Market Basket makes a variety of REALLY good sausage! Never really cared for an "Eckrich" style sausage. To each his own... What y'all got?

Every new coach shouldn’t be judged until the season after a FULL offseason. Great coaches will make a difference with out an offseason. There aren’t many great ones out there. Over half of ALL hires are done deals with brother in laws or ADs drinking buddies or coaches in THSCA politics which looks good to many Superintendents which means he’s a brown nosed and politicker. I’ve worked for 11 coaches in 33 years of football. 2 great, 1 average, 2 below average and 6 AWFUL SELFISH for $ only.

No class huh? I know one thing. The Lumberton band is all about class. They did not play over y’all when y’all were playing yalls school song i can tell you that right now. you don’t care to mention 3 years ago when we played and y’all beat us and when our band played our school song y’all blared “Don’t stop believing over ours” And as far as you say we arnt as good as we think we are. What does that say about y’all?

But only if yowman gets the protection he needs and I don’t think he will. I said it from the start of year the oline is the weakest part of this offense. I would love see your dream become reality. I believe about 3 years ago to the date is when everyone 1 thought West Brook would lose to Lufkin and that's when West Brook went into the old Trick or Treat bag and introduced some of you all to Elia as a sophmore and he put up 7 touchdowns and accounted for almost 500 total yards or so. Dont be surprised if Peavey puts a wrinkle in the defense by playing a different safety and putting Bryce Anderson behind the gun. Not only does West Brook have to worry about the run but your gonna have to have a mobile QB that has good feet to give yourself a chance or the defense will be on the field way to long. Just some food for thought....carry on...

As far as Memorial i think it's more of the kids not buying in, then coaching, then fan support which is negative support unlike myself and others.

In the 1st year, senior leadership is almost as much a factor as the coaching change itself. Many people discount how much effect seniors have on lower classes in practice and attitude. You are right that seniors buying into the system can go a long way for the new program.

LOL! For some folks around here, you get credit, or more likely blame, as soon as you are announced. Me personally, you should see improvement after the first season.

Lol, wosgrad I think it's a waste of time trying to get hardcore whoever he is to understand the game.i think he's a young kid that only sees scores and doesn't really pay attention to the game. Every team has strength and weaknesses.and it's not abt how ur playing in September or October but how ur playing in November and December that counts.in 4A D2 there is no clear cut winner.w.o,silsbee,jasper,Navarro,PG,Gilmer.outta be the favorite.but that's why they play the game.anybody can be beaten here.

Oh and by the way our band stayed and watched Livingston band after the game so our band has a ton of respect for Livingston band and all other bands

One last note for the Vidor community. When I pulled in last night and saw all of the destruction from the TS. Mounds of trash from gutted homes and businesses still lining the streets. I know your community is hurting and your boys played there hearts out even through the diversity that surrounds them. On top of that you found the heart to dedicate your band show to a band director that recently passed at BH. The history of Vidor hasn’t been that great, but my hat is off to the Vidor if now! Congrats for being such a model for what high school sports should be about.

Coach Foster at Big Sandy deserves some credit. He always seems to get the most out of the group he has, and is never afraid to play up in competition.

United will be the best in our coverage area for 6A Memorial and Nederland in 5A (Both will be improved this year). Silsbee and HJ in 4A EC and Coldspring in 3A Shelbyille in 2A In other words, the usual suspects....
