I don't think Lee should be state ranked or anything like that, but Splendora beat them last year and Lee dispatched them this year with ease. Splendora is likely about the same type of team they were last year which means the Ganders are greatly improved. Lee nearly made the playoffs last year after many poor seasons, a few being winless. They are a much better team this year than last. Any sort of success gets me excited as a Gander fan.

Well, you are right. I saw something. They fought tough. Reminds me of the young Bulldog team yall has in the 2010 football season. They were young, but was scrappy and you seen then turning the corner soon and you know they were going to peak really soon. That group went on to win consecutive district titles dominating other teams. This 2019 team I see like that. They have some nice young talent. Theyll only get better. Watch.

I knew Nederland didn’t have a chance being down by 2 scores. First half was a defensive, penalty ridden battle. The pick six was a huge mistake by the quarterback as well as the first interception. BU made the right changes after the half. They will making a lot of noise as the season goes on . Ned will be fine. Like someone said before, seen to many 1-2, 0-3 starts and turn out with good playoff runs.

IMHO HD won’t be challenged until week four. They will blow through WH & Sabine Pass. Cushing will be their first real challenge.

United has to clean up those penalties. False starts and delay of game penalties don't cut it against really good teams.

Huntsville is #4 in the state and I'm sure there defense is very stout again. Last year they had athletes all over the field. They had us covered like blankets and beat RJ up. Even though the big boy Sweat is gone I expect them to be strong again. The running game better be working for PNG tonite. This game will tell us a lot about PNG. I expect Huntsville to win by 14+ points. I hope I'm wrong and best of luck to the Indians.

Why is West Brook vs United on a Thursday? If you ask me that should be on a Saturday so anyone in the Golden Triangle can go watch. If it shapes up to be the game I think it will, to hell with Lamar, this will be a really good game to spend a Saturday at the Butch.

Very impressed with United defense. Very fast and the front 4 are big and mean. Timberwolves will make some noise this season. Was good catching up with Alpha Wolf and BMTSoulja.

Silsbee is going to run all over most teams they play. I'm really excited for the WO-S game, to see how that Mustang defense stacks up against this particular Sislbee running back squad. The Silsbee line is big. After the PNG game, I'd say the biggest weakness is being mistake prone, for Silsbee, and everyone has mentioned the conditioning. But if Silsbee can avoid fumbles and interceptions, they are going to give Nederland a good game, and maybe shock WO-S again. This running back group from Silsbee is the best in the area.

Rivers is United best defensive player Imo. On O that QB is MUCH BETTER than the one from last yr.
