Silsbee should have won the district.there young team matured better than w.o.at every position.if ppl would ever pay attention to 2 things from last yr.one the QB play was horrible last yr.and the defense was perhaps one of the worse ones to come through.even in the jasper and silsbee playoff game.secondary just let wrs run free for whatever reason. And they couldn't tackle.remember newton game.the underclassman was the best part of w.o team.they will be strong for the next couple years though.

If WOS had 8 turnovers then Silsbee had atleast 6. Why is WOS existence being judged only from last years team? (One of the worst in school history IMO). With a winning percentage as high as it is - id say they perform decent in all conditions

But the district game last year IN Orange was a dry day, beautiful evening, no rain and WO-S BARELY squeaked by. So much so your players stormed the field in celebration. This should've been an indication of things to come if they met a second time. The playoff loss was inevitable. I noticed Parker Moye and other Evadale players at the viewing for Hunter Williams. Sorry, I do not know the others names. Just wanted to say a thank you to these young men for taking time to come honor Hunter. This means a lot to people they do not know. I promise you that it did not go unnoticed from the Big Sandy community and Hunter's parents. A big thank you to these fine young Rebels!

HF hasn’t been winning lately. That’s the point of bringing Coach Tigee in. IF the boys listen to him, he’ll give them the opportunity to win. It may not be the run & gun they like, but I think they’ll like winning. Will he win for sure? Heck, anybody’s guess. But imo, the boys are getting a Coach they’ll like, and learn life-lessons from, and if they don’t have a winning record, I’ll be surprised. Wish nothing but the best for the HF Basketball Team.

Depends on the league/organization In HS it is a dead ball. In MLB, NCAA, Babe Ruth, Select the ball is live and the balk is nullified once the runners reach the next base. So swing away, only good things can happen.
