    LU had 1900 as the listed attendance today. Looked really nice seeing almost 2000 at a mid-major complex. Drawing like that more often would be wonderful. Crowds are much less boisterous than they were years ago. Believe we have lost some of the old men that were quick to get on umps and the opposition in years past. Another fun season at Vincent Beck and hope to enjoy many more. Great way to spend time for about 8 to 10 weekends every spring.

    LU 10 run rule with a 17-5 win. Zane Spinn caps it with a grand slam in bottom of 7. Ryan with a 4 RBI day. Likely headed to UTRGV as LU will be the 3 seed and face HCU again in the first game of the tourney. SELA win over Nicholls solidifies the above and they presently lead 15-1 in the top of the 6th at Nicholls. See all 2 of you in Edinburg.

    HJ went undefeated in Pool A, beating Katy Home School, Liberty and Jasper Silsbee went undefeated in Pool B, beating Hamshire-Fannett, Huffman and WO-S HJ defeated Silsbee in the final, 20-7. HJ qualifies for state tourney.
