There is no denying you can be recruited from anywhere, but the level of competition you play dramatically helps the majority of players stock because some coaches , especially when dealing with QBs, want to see the level of competition you play. QB is such a mental game. How many QBs have washed out due to not having the processing speed or knowing how to read a defense. 6Avs 3A is has a different speed to it. at any rate, he will be better prepared for college ball having played games against 6A than playing kids who are 5’6 140 lbs who who just got out of 7th period Ag class. anyone who is salty hasn’t had the opportunity to make decisions that will affect hundreds of thousand dollars of income coming out out of Highschool. It’s a different world these days

I spoke with Harold earlier today. He believes that KLVI will continue to do Nederland football and Lamar athletic broadcasts and he will contract out for them. He is just no longer a full time employee with IHeart/KLVI. He isn't 100% certain of this but believes it will happen.

I am guessing he won’t do Nederland games anymore either then… this is a HUGE loss. Great at his job but even better “Mann”

Newton is not a passing team and Woodville just recently started implementing the pass more like 5 or 6 years ago. Babin is only the 3rd qb to come through since then. There are plenty big time d1 QBs that come from small schools though. Colt McCoy is the first that comes to mind. If you can play you can play. Real scouts know it when they see it regardless of what level your playing at

Some coaches fail exercise physiology even after they have graduated.

In some cases you can say the coaches were ignorant. This one feels criminal. 300-400 push-ups per athletic period for three days straight without breaks or water. 20 of the 80 kids subjected to this hospitalized with rhabdomyolysis. Some folks will still defend it.

The only reason that he back-tracked was because so many of his supporters were like “hang on, now… this isn’t right.” Which is what I’ve been saying all along (for the last few months)-if Trump’s supporters would speak up and say “hang on now… this isn’t right” you would see better behavior from him. The fact that his base will give him a pass, no matter how wrong or evil the misdeed, only emboldens His Fatness to behave in increasingly bad ways. Instead of cheering (or at least remaining silent) when Trump made threats against sovereign nation like Venezuela, Cuba, and Iceland, they should have spoken up-and we likely wouldn’t be investing hundreds of billions of dollars into a war in Iran that we cannot win.
