Astros bats were sluggish early. Cleveland went from no-hitter to 4 hitter to tie it @ 4 off a 3 run shot by Trammel and a solo shot by Paredes.

After reading a little of what teams have coming back, BH with 3-3 returning starters and a new coach just may miss the playoffs this year. I think the top 4 may be . 1.) Lufkin 2.) PAM 3.) WB 4.) Ball

That would be Kaleb Jammer, WR who was the leading receiver last year in predistrict, but broke his ankle before district. HIs brother Kasen , a CB, was named defensive newcomer of the year for the district as a soph last year. They have quite an NFL connection; their father Quentin Jammer was a CB in the NFL for 12 years and their uncle, Quandre Diggs was a safety in the NFL 10 years. With the Titans last yeat, he had a lisfrank injury and at 32 may not get another chance to play. While with the Titans, he put in a good word for his cousin, Cam Ward, who they drafted with the 1st pick. Kasen's DC Gilbert Gardner Jr., an Angleton grad, was a LB in the NFL for several years. I hope to see Kasen in the NFL too. The WR I'm waiting to see is Juel Peterson who was 2nd team all-district as a freshman at a Houston 6A, transferred and spent last year on Angleton's JV. He's also a kick returner. As for the defense, they should be ok. Three of the starters received post season honors, DL Brynden Mack was named honorable mention all-state by TSWA, TraeVonne Latimer was 2nd team all district and Kasen Jammer, the defensive newcomer. The new starters have been running this defense since 7th grade so I expect by district play they will be in fine form.

Well, they are always hypocrites…. [Hidden Content] From the article: What we're hearing: The grassroots wants more. "Some of them have suggested ... what we really need to do is be willing to get shot" when visiting ICE facilities or federal agencies, a third House Democrat told Axios.

He has no real solid defense to fall back on other than the race mantra which by all accounts to date do not seem to paint that picture... It's indicative that the young man who did the stabbing is in for a rather long time in a cell.

The BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL - PASSED THE HOUSE
thetragichippy replied to thetragichippy's topic in Political Forum
As part of my divorce, I fought and received joint custody of my Son. The legal arrangement was a week at my house, a week at hers. My agreement I made to my Son was he could stay as long or as short as he wanted at my house. At 16 he decided he wanted to live with me. I let her take the tax credit all 17 years.....like you said, my kid, my responsibility. -

It’s math. We had massive tax cuts in 2017, then the debt exploded. But since it had the opposite effect last time (increased debt, NOT economic growth that would solve the debt problem), the solution is to keep those cuts in place, and cut even more? It’s like giving my first wife a credit card. At some point we’ve got to realize that we simply aren’t paying enough in taxes to pay for all of the things that we want. So you’re going to have to decide whether to go up on taxes or give up your freebies. You know what’s funny? Nobody ever says “I receive this benefit… I think we can prune that program back.” It’s always “we need to make our cuts over THERE… that program from which I receive no benefit.” That’s my question for you all… what program that you support (or from which you receive, or have received a benefit) do you feel could sustain budget cuts? -
