Orangefield at Hardin -Friday 9/26
weonlyrun28toss replied to kirkwood29's topic in High School Football
This game is a tough one. Hardin isn't the same Hardin as it was last year, their QB, RB and wr are pretty good. Defense is pretty quick OF defense has to show up and the offense needs to get the QB rolling! -
Dayton 14+…. it seems Dayton has emerged from as a real contender. District will know more come Friday.

Dayton by a couple as long as the injured starters are back and no new key injuries.

I think they’ll do better than HF in both of those areas, but I don’t think they’ll do better enough to win the game. AC’s quarterback was also very tough to corral when the pressure did get through. Was the line good because HF’s isn’t strong? Was HF’s D-line struggling because their O-line is huge and good? Might be a combination of the two. That said, I predicted a much closer result for a reason. The stangs will have to play a good game. They aren’t going to “out-athlete” them. And they’re deep. It was a 2-score game going into the fourth, but our boys were wiped and it got out of hand. One thing that will help the stangs is that Crawford is undisciplined. Tons of penalties, and many of the 15-yd variety. Apart from the implications a WOS win would have in regards to their matchup with HF later in the season, I would love to see the mustangs pull this one out. I could be wrong. Lord knows I have been plenty on here. Maybe HF is a shell of the team they were last year, but based on their first three games it seems like they’re still pretty solid.

Going to need to go 6-0 this coming week to have any chance of winning division. Probably need at worse 4-2 to get Wild Card spot. This one is basically over. 7-0 in 2nd. 2 out, 2 strike Grand Slam. smh
-
I was told that not only did HF not able to cover WR but they also could not get pressure on the QB. How good is the Crawford OLine is the question? I think WO-S may be able to apply more pressure to help in defending Crawford's pass attack.
-
The qb is very solid. Throws a pretty deep ball and has the line to give him time to get it off and the receivers to go up and catch them. The wr is something special. 4-star junior committed to Texas, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds another star between now and the end of his senior season. He went for 7/219/3 against us, and added a 78-yd punt return for a 4th score. Y’all’s secondary is probably better than ours, but still. We had decent coverage on most of their big plays and still couldn’t stop them.

Thank you for being a loyal fan. It excites you to lose. Unbelievable.

Dallas Cowboys 2025
spidersal replied to spidersal's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
I think it is official after watching today’s game. Dallas probably has the worst defense in the NFL. They have absolutely ZERO pass rush and the secondary is without a question the worst in the NFL Getting destroyed by Chicago is a total embarrassment I am not to sure if they will win 6 games and probably last place in there division -
Dayton should about have a playoff berth wrapped up in 11-5A D1 as they have started 3-0 in that district. Now they switch to 8-5A D2. This will be the best game in the District this week. Montgomery is considered to be a playoff team. Dayton? They were picked 6th, but they sure look like a playoff team. I think the game could go either way, but I’ll ride with the hot team and take Dayton at home in a close game.

Pena scratched for tonight. Left oblique soreness.
-
West Fork is improved this year as their entire team returns. However, I don’t think this game will be particularly close. I’ll take Huntsville 38-7.
-
Trinity at Woodville considered a big game. LOL
-
It was said above the best qb wr combo we'll see. Our kids need to be coached up to limit the big plays this week

WOS @ FB Crawford (Sat)
Bring back the 50 defense replied to WOSdrummer99's topic in High School Football
Yes i don't believe they can afford to give up 24 points against good teams. The offense may not able to keep up without a proven passing game. It's going to be rough. -
I'm sorry but, don't bet on it!! kids in the secondary has to be taught !!

ETEXAG started following Woodville (47) @ Diboll (7) - FINAL

Woodville seems to be hitting their stride. Coaches are making adjustments on both sides of the ball. Babin is playing at an elite level. No turnovers through 4 games for the Woodville QB. Woodville is going to have to win higher scoring games this year and need defense to be opportunistic. Babin and WRs are very good.
