  2. Of the pitchers that you say were "average at best": Sousa had one of the best ERA's in baseball at 2.84 when he got hurt. Only Brown, Hader and Abreu had lower ERA's on the team with that many innings pitched. Garcia at 3.52 and Walter at 3.32 were "above average" when they got hurt. MLB average ERA for the season was 4.10. As for the position players: Dezenzo was hitting above average (.255, MLB average is .240). The fact that so many outfielder's (6) were put on IL during the season put Houston in a bad way with having to pull minor leaguers up sooner than they wanted to. Fact is, this team was decimated with injuries. It was simply amazing that they were in the playoff race till the last two games. You can never convince me otherwise.
  3. They played us at the Reservation in 2018.
  4. As bad as Pasadena is, and I thought it might be the worst varsity team I have ever seen, they did beat Houston Austin 39-0, so there is somebody worse. I did think it was pretty ridiculous Crosby did multiple on-side kick attempts against Pasadena, the first one being after they returned the opening kick off back for a touchdown. Just bad sportsmanship in my opinion by the staff.
  5. PN-G, 31-17

  8. Excellent list of season injuries AggiesAreWe IMO Arrighetti and Hader highly missed, the others average pitchers at best Paredes, Pena, Meyers, and Alvarez highly missed, the others average at best They finished 7 of 15 AL teams, middle of the pack, I think I would call that average Now I know you can’t wait to call this negative, however that is honest facts of the season
  9. Just watched PNG's demolition of Lake Creek...really impressive Bailey and those WR's are locked in...combine that with two excellent backs and what is still a very good OL and the PNG offense is REALLY hard to stop. Huntsville physically can push PNG a bit....RB Brown and QB Adolphe are outstanding, but consistency is still an issue with them IMO, the two really good teams they've played...they've lost...so I'm not sure Huntsville is on that elite level right now....
  10. Today
  11. They finally lined him up more in the backfield. Long overdue IMO 🤷🏾‍♂️
  12. Gotta ask @NDNation 😁
  13. He had a very good game. Should have got more touches.
  14. This post seems familiar. The atmosphere has been cleaned up a bit, ever since the Thanksgiving Day 2019 incident. WRT the game, PNG shouldn't need too much home cooking I'm hoping. BTW, without checking the internet, I think this may be the first time to play Huntsville in Port Neches in quite a while, if ever.
  15. This makes the 18th loss for WO-S in the last 3 1/2 seasons. More than any other 3 1/2 year span in the schools 48 year history.
  16. Is that local or premium atmosphere?
  17. I think player personnel changes are needed for BU going forward, starting with a certain position that involves quicker decision making. Just my opinion 🤷🏾‍♂️
  18. @BMTSoulja1 knows all about that in bold 😁
  19. This was the most three stooges game I've seen in a long while. Crosby 7-0 - Opening Kickoff taken back for 6 14-0 - 1st Punt taken back to 30, 2 Plays TD. 21-0 Crosby Onside kicks it gets it, Big pass for TD 28-0 2nd play big TD pass, called back, third play TD run from 50 35-0 snap over punters head he kicks it to try and get it out of endzone and it goes straight to a cougar 3 yards away for a punt return TD. 42-0 Fumble Recovery by Cougars followed by a TD pass where he beats two guys so bad he turns around and backpaddles in the endzone to catch the pass. end of first quarter... Crosby could have put 150 on this team with both how bad they were playing and Crosby seemed in synch.
  20. In the last 3 years there has been a bunch
  21. Dre’lon Miller with 2 TDs so far tonight for Colorado
  22. Wins Games Win % WOS 456 580 0.7862 SLC 617 785 0.7860 -0.0002 [Hidden Content]
  23. Every game is winnable. 2 losses we were driving to end the game. Remember the timeout on 1st down after we recieved a punt? Or maybe the timeout on the 2pt try in the 3rd? Could've used them late in the 4th but mismanaged again. No more time for dominant run game that had been working. Throw it to the endzone. Well we havnt done that the entire game. So let's wait til the last play to see what happens...
