  5. Today
  6. Yeah it’s rough times over there… don’t even have a JV from what I was told
  7. Coach Barbay died in2010
  8. Last time Newton lost a district game was when coach Barbay’s funeral was that week and E Chambers beat us.
  9. Concerning the Schumer shutdown: Democrats have voted for a “clean” continuing resolution (CR) to keep the government open 13 times in recent years, primarily during the Biden administration from 2021 through March 2025. A “clean CR” refers to a short-term funding extension that keeps spending at current levels without additional policy conditions. These Democratic votes occurred under prior divided-government negotiations where both parties agreed to avoid government shutdowns. However, since the current shutdown began on October 1, 2025, Democrats have opposed at least 10 separate clean CR votes in the Senate introduced by Republicans. In summary: Period Votes by Democrats for clean CRs Notes 2021–March 2025 13 times All under Biden administration to avoid shutdowns October 2025 0 votes in favor (10 times voted against) Ongoing impasse during Trump administration Overall, Democrats have a record of 13 prior votes supporting clean CRs but have not supported any of the 10 clean CR proposals brought to the Senate during the current 2025 shutdown.

  12. This 100%. I’ve had to ref 3 JV games this year with just me and one other ref. We can always use more.
  13. Yeah, I’d rather send more than $200 billion to the most corrupt country in the world…..Ukraine. That way I get kickback. You never make sense because you have nothing to back it up.
  14. 🇦🇷 Make Argentina Great Again!!
  15. Yeah it got crowded quick… was not expecting that but it’s a good thing to have
  16. Lattimore was interfering him on every play and trying to get in his head with smack talk. It didn’t bother Pickens at all and he caught some passes that most receivers wouldn't have come down with. Cowboys have a crowded roster at WR and Flournoy got pushed down the ranks. Me, that guy would play slot. Probably why I’m not an NFL HC.
  17. All on line for Fridays games, primarily MCM. Tomorrow if all goes well I may go watch Hardin at Anahuac.
  18. Pickens is loving his time in Dallas with Dak and Ceedee. Everyone saying he’s a great teammate
  19. No, not Cuba, but I would say we replaced the Taliban, which regained control when Biden pulled out. Probably was behind Assad in Syria’s downfall. I would say we have probably had influence on lots of countries. Took out Noriega of Panama. Maduro in Venezuela has numbered days IMO. Hezbollah has set up shop there and Trump ain’t having none of that. He’s not building our military presence in the Caribbean as a chess move. My post above was sarcasm. Had a failed invasion of Cuba called the Bay of Pigs. Then came the Cuban Missile Crisis. I was just a 9 year old kid, but I remember the school drills.
  20. Bonus time in what I believe the top 2 in the west… Rockets year they finally get over that hump and win it all
  21. RIP Mr. Sedtal loved that post on ask him your questions… lot of great stuff on there.
  22. Indeed throws some question marks… you are sure right. Would have been fun tough district.
  23. May he R.I.P. 🙏🏾 I remember meeting him at Pappadeauxs before a football game long time ago. Cool dude.
  24. I'll be with Aaron for the Beaumont Bowl broadcast
  25. On the call... Silsbee @ West Orange
  26. Dennis Sedtal, our MrUmp1, passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer. Dennis was a long time baseball umpire here in Southeast Texas. He also was a statistician for WO-S for many years under Hooks and Thompson. Condolences to the Sedtal family. [Hidden Content]
