  1. Past hour
  2. Only if you have a district championship type team player wise, if you don’t then you need to stay healthy going into district if you don’t have depth. If you play tough teams and your guys start dropping then by district you are in a bind.
  3. #99 for Silsbee and #19 on the end will put a lick on you!! If you happen to get past them, #20 Morris will lay the hat. Good defensive game by Silsbee outside of that big pass play before halftime time. I dont know if toy will see as many 60+ yard plays out if this Tiger offense but that will chew up clock with that Big OL and run game.
  4. Yeah they under utilize him. I would feed him the rock 20 times a game with the pass and even a few run plays. Super athletic kid.
  5. I dont know what happened most of the game but I watched the last play and the QB just had a brain fart...poor kid was probably yelling kill or spike and his brain just defaulted to taking a knee....felt really bad for him
  6. Easy pre district gears you towards a winning season record. Hard pre district gears you towards district championships.
  7. I disagree with that.. Lumberton had Nederland on the ropes, Nederland jsut beat wos, this game tonight was a Compeitve game till the block fg to run back for a td.
  8. How does building confidence help you in the 2nd round of playoffs? I personally disagree....building confidence starts in practice and kids buying into what you're teaching or not.... you want to play the hardest teams possible pre district unless you just want to pad records and stats. When you face adversity those tough or not so tough pre district games show up.
  9. Today
  10. Ktz will probably go 6-0 before meeting up with Newton. Then lose the last 4 games. The NW game, the deciding game if they make the playoffs or not. Good job tonight fellas.
  11. Jasper won this game 21 to 8.
  12. Lcm needs to find a identity and fast !!
  13. Many. You've seen these same mistakes on the sidelines in person too. Difference is Silsbee staff would have worked to make sure it wasnt a continual problem. Not saying stop clock has been a problem for us in past. But many things continue to be. I hope u still see them as a district champion? I wish i had a new magic crystal ball. This old thing from 1986... that was the year
  14. I brought that up to a guy that I was sitting with tonight when it happened, If I remember correctly, WOS had not lost a district game or championship since dropping down. That game would have been WOS first district loss and given Silsbee the championship. But…. maybe my memory is fading, especially since I don’t follow either team.
  15. Hey hit me up in the message… I wanna ask and tell u something real quick
  16. I can remember a Silsbee QB mistakenly taking a knee instead of spiking the ball at WO-S that cost the Tigers a win. Silsbee had the ball at the Mustang 1 yard line with the clock winding down, score tied 7-7, and instead of spiking the ball, the young man took a knee and time expired due to Silsbee not having in timeouts left. WO-S ended up winning the game in OT, 14-7. That was in 2008. I know for a fact the Silsbee coaching staff was telling the QB to spike it. Was quite clear from our broadcast booth. Saw several giving the signal to do so. QB just got confused. It happens. I don't know that the QB was confused in this case but it's very possible. I just don't think you can automatically blame the coaches on that situation. Sounds like there are other things that cost WO-S this game, not just the kneel down.
  17. With 13 coaches on the sideline and at least 1 in the box. Smh. Blame it on a 4 day work week. Anyone remember the day 1 interview... "We talked about this morning about earning it. You know, last year, you know, we got close. You know, we made a big step, you know, winning nine games and but around here, you know, ain't nobody going to give it to us. We got to earn it. And that was kind of our our calling card for the whole offseason is earning it and putting in the work and that's what we're going to live on this year. We got to earn it. We got to earn that position to get where we need to be and where we want to be." "What makes West Orange-Stark special? Our rich tradition of the Mustang Way." - West Orange-Stark head coach Hiawatha Hickman Waaaaay too far from the Mustang Way. DCTF... @Matthew328 and Tepper we love u guys and Pickle too. But stop putting us in the rankings please. Remember what u saw against PNG to drop us out 3 years ago. Its still happening. Nothing has gotten better. Why on earth would u run in a play if u dont know the ruling on the field yet. But we send our formation to the line just in time to get out of the way of the ref marching us back. Only to run the same play from 3rd and 20 instead of 3rd and 5. Then we pick up 7 yards and punt. Not to mention the opposing defense sees exactly what we show and makes adjustments between the hash marks quicker that we do. Our "Football IQ" has diminished. Look no furthur than this QB glitch towards the end. Somebody needs to be running stands all night long. And im not talking about players. The kids have given 112% for 4 years.
  18. Right. And so will half the teams that play Sunday. LOL
  19. I’m aware…check my other post
  20. Lets not get silly... these schedules are made with 2 year agreements (Home & home) This is a new coach at United, he inherited this schedule.
  21. I said it. Next week is the litmus test. When a good defense shows up my lil cuz will be in trouble
  22. LCM must have not hit the portal like they should have.....
  23. Dayton being good in football is good for SETX football..... good win for them.
