  2. What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but an analysis by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
  3. He's with it enough to do what he's told, beginning day 1 when he signed the order to revoke the Keystone Pipeline project. But more recently, he's protecting the DOJ, as well as himself ... [Hidden Content]
  4. Most 75-80 year Olds have some type of cognitive impairment. If you are asking if Biden has dementia then my answer is no. That is a Republican talking point. If you all think he has dementia what type do you think he has?

  7. Whoever wins, what is really going to change in Southeast Texas. Does it really matter?
  8. They was promised something that never was going to happen. Lamar saw the bs real quick and dipped. So did Sam they went and got it themselves. SFA finally woke up…
  9. Exactly, Democrats always running around wanting something for nothing
  10. Game day is 1 day closer. Let’s go Yellowjackets!!!
  11. This individual briefly hit on the point I've brought up about 1,400 Dems voting for Phelan. But, he said this was basically Covey's unfounded contention. Apparently this writer didn't do his home work. He should have talked to Michael Berry. Didn't mention the fact that Karl Rove was responsible for these liberals voting for Phelan. Of course the writer didn't know this because he didn't do his home work. Not much journalistic curiosity anymore. BTW -- my brother-in-law just told me his commie Democratic friend whispered to him that he voted for Phelan. Again, this individual NEVER votes Republican.
  12. Ten GOP Senators, Led By Mike Lee: “We are no longer cooperating with any Democrat legislative priorities or nominations” “And we invite all concerned Senators to join our stand”! Good for them. But, let's hide and watch and see if Manchin and Fetterman join in with support! But I wouldn't hold my breath! [Hidden Content]
  13. Trump's due process was violated. Which is a violation of the Constitution. How would you feel if you ever got rail-roaded like this? You can't feel good about a fellow citizens Constitutional rights being constantly violated, even if you don't agree with him personally.
  14. Not talking about a person, talking about the party and policies they support. Why would any Republican run areas look at blue cities like Memphis, Chicago or Detroit and proclaim there is anything good (policy wise) that they would want to implement, there is not. Democrats slowly destroy everything they run, it’s a fact. What’s sad is many are moving the Republican party to do the same.
  15. Donald Trump Arrives at UFC 302 to ‘Thunderous Applause’ Days After Conviction! BigGirl -- people are seeing this for what it is, a con game. Explain for me please: How does a state book keeping error (misdemeanor at best) turn into 34 felonies. What are these 34 felonies? [Hidden Content]
