  1. Past hour
  2. If it's not their team having success, then they're going to be negative. They always find a reason to be negative and that's just society today. But I'll say this, if your coach chose to opt up to Division 1 for WHATEVER reason, then you should back him 100%. If other people don't agree, so be it. It's what Bridge City decided to do and in the long scheme of things, they were successful doing it. BC is now the 2025 Division 1 District Champions and Bi-District Champions. So it's working for them. If you're on here and you not from Navasota or maybe Kilgore, then beat it or support a SETX team that is successful. There are plenty of schools loaded with potential in this area that can't figure it out. Go back to the miserable thread about your team not making the playoffs or losing the first round and figure out a solution to excel! Bridge City did! Congrats Cardinals!
  3. Peja's kid is legit. Needs to work on his FTs though.
  4. Very few players can play everywhere but catcher and pitcher. To me, Duboń is worth the money. Astros never fail to surprise me.
  5. This is what happens when you have TDS…..you take to heart anything negative about Trump
  6. Why didn’t they just get a competent Judge?
  7. Say it isn’t so…..
  8. Today
  9. PN-G will be fine this week
  10. Not too sure about that. 2024 Plano East won 6A. They were more than capable of beating FF. 2023 Lake Highlands won 6A and they had plenty of size and better guard play. 2022 Duncanville won 6A (later had to forfeit title). That team beat FF. Same as 2019. Duncanville. Point being, FF belonged competing at the highest classification while playing UIL. They chose not to play UIL last year and this year because UIL was about to lay the hammer down on the program. Looks like TEA may do it for them.
  11. Money saving move? Appears Allen made the leage minimum last year while Dubon was at 5 million and likely higher in '26 through arbitration. Don't like it as a fan though as he was enjoyable to watch play.
  12. They must know then, sounds like another PNG domination for our neighbors while also I believe Coach Joseph will become PNG all time winningest playoff wins for a PNG Head coach in history…
  13. Massey has PN-G as a 22 point favorite...I might be the minority but I don't think PN-G skips a beat
  14. Also the more I've looked at AMC they look like a better version of West Brook. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  15. Can't stress this enough for Friday for us: ball security on offense, fundamental tackling on defense.....a must against AMC. Put them away early. Hoping Mother Nature isn't a factor, but if it is I do believe we'll have a little bit of an advantage in overall team speed, but cannot turn the ball over in this one. Go Titans!
  16. They likely would’ve still won state a couple times in basketball with starting lineups usually consisting of 6’11” and a 6’8” Guy or three
  17. This is insane, what does a WOS gain out of this? Wos & HF should have played each other instead of schools with a combined 100 kids.
  18. A BC vs HF game would have been a great game!
  19. Your district record got better because of the district you now play. I stated that out of the three schools that opted up, BC was the only one I really didn't have much problem with doing it since their numbers are close to DI anyways. IMO, BC finishes no better than 3rd in 9-4A DII.
  20. I’m starting to like the idea of ramping up in competition as district play starts. What’s the point of going 2-3 in non district play and going into district play banged up, or even losing kids for the year in meaningless games? Is it a coincidence that our district record got way better when we stopped scheduling tough non-district opponents? I don’t know.
  21. People forget that we played in this same district in the previous alignment. These are teams that we were used to playing. Another thing is that BC has a really strong involvement with other groups that participate on Friday Nights. Our drill and band are some of the best in the area, bar none. The 4A D1 district is a lot better fit for “us.” Schools like LCM, Lumberton, and Huffman have similarly supported marching bands, etc… there are some years that WOS doesn’t even field a band, and the participation by the ones that have bands is pale compared to the BC program. Places like HF can’t seat our band, drill team, and band parents in their visitor stands, much less the regular Cardinal fans. Our school is a better fit with the bigger schools, even if our attendance numbers don’t put us up there. I think we’d have finished no worse than second this year had we played in the local D2 district. Just my opinion.
  22. Those schools were made to play 6A even though they did not have 6A enrollments. Same should have been done to FF.
  23. What are you talking about?
  24. Astros traded Dubon to Atlanta for someone named Nick Allen IMO Dubon was one of the best utility men in baseball. Seems like typlcal Houston mentality at times.
