When Correa leads off with a double and he doesn’t advance at least one base, that’s pretty disheartening. I can live with the “4” but the “0” has to go. I don’t think we had a man get to 3rd last night. Astros will win the next two and be up a game……from the eternal optimist. I don’t throw in the towel until I am mathematically eliminated.

Lmao. Trump had nothing to do with it. Nexstar, which will own 15% of ABC affiliates after the merger, already said they would preempt Himmel’s show because of his comments. They forced ABC’s hand, NOT TRUMP.

I’m picking Lumberton by 2 touchdowns. But only because I’m still bitter they beat Orangfield in the bayou bowl. 🤣🤷♂️

Before the season I think it was obvious. But, now, well, I'm going to have to think long and hard on this one!

Monty, 31-30

Woo was a pretty good pitcher last night and so was Hunter. So I guess there was an offset somewhere. It fell apart more when Bullpen took over and kinda went downhill from there.. They will come back I'm sure.

The most interesting matchup in 8-5aD2 this week. My gut says Montgomery but this one feels like a 50-50.

In every case, the coaches know far more than 95% of the fans. I said what I said.

I agree 100 percent with you on that! (Although I wouldn’t classify myself as a “lefty” lol - those folks wouldn’t give me a card if they saw some of the ballots I cast 😉.) And the feeling is mutual. We do disagree on a lot of issues but I always am interested in your opinions and appreciate your insight. I’m sad that’s a rarity in today’s world.

Lately they just came off of sweeping the Rangers. Astros are 12-10 in their last 22 games.

Hang around Hoops. You’re the only sane lefty around. Even though we disagree on political views, I still think we could sit down and throw back some brewskies, which is the way it should be anyway. Lol

[Hidden Content] 🙂 From the article: Harris has weighed in on Disney’s decision to pull ABC’s "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" off the air "indefinitely," defending Kimmel and slamming what she calls an "outright abuse of power" by the Trump administration. "What we are witnessing is an outright abuse of power. This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out. Media corporations — from television networks to newspapers — are capitulating to these threats," Harris wrote on Xabout Kimmel’s suspension. "We cannot dare to be silent or complacent in the face of this frontal assault on free speech. We, the people, deserve better." Many X users, including Musk, the platform’s owner, were quick to point out Harris’ own past statements, some suggested they appeared to support censorship. Musk resurfaced a 2019 tweet by Harris when Trump was serving his first time. Harris, a U.S. senator representing California at the time, was running for vice president when she made the post on X, now Twitter. "Look let's be honest, @realDonaldTrump's Twitter account should be suspended," Harris wrote on Sept. 30, 2019.

I'd love to see some game film from Lake Creek but I haven't seen anything on youtube or TexanLive. I don't get the impression they're very deep, or doing anything special on defense. They return everyone from last year' o-line. New qb, new RB. Lake Creek likes to go fast, coach says he tries to have about 80 offensive snaps a game. I think they'll try to win it in the air. PNG's secondary will get tested. This one will be lower scoring than last year. I'm thinking PNG 35-17.
