I may stand corrected from my last comment. I did not know EC got a QB transfer from Barbers Hill, athlete from Port Arthur Memorial with D1 offers, and athlete back from Manvel with D1 offers. That's a big deal for a small school like EC. Jasper should have the advantage up front on both sides. Maybe it's a toss up. We'll see Friday.
-
I got Jasper in this one. I do think the new coaching staff will have Jasper significantly better and more prepared than last season. Now, I do not think they'll be on the top end of 4AD2 by any means, but I do think they'll beat EC. Jasper should have more all-around size and athletes on the field as they should. EC has a couple guys that can really go, but Jasper should field the average Jasper team this year which is normally a descent, respectable team. Who do I want to win? East Chambers!

I applaud what he’s gotten out of here but it’s not near enough. IMO we’re not voting our way out of the mess that this country is in especially with the joke of a voting system that we have in this country. Like I said both parties have given us 40 trillion in debt and war. I zero faith in the Democrat party and very little in the Republican Party. At the course we are on this country will crash and burn.

I got East Chambers. I think Jasper has gotten a lot of hype based on some coaching hires.

Trust the process. It'll do you some good. Latest word out of the Fed (Atlanta I think) says that it looks like the third quarter growth will be 4.6%. Good in any book!

Talk about an Icon. She was always smiling. I remember her from her Porter Wagoner days……as do you.

Newton and WOS are tied 5-5 since 2014, which is really impressive for such a small team like Newton. WOS should win more often. I bet little ol' Newton has more wins against WOS than any other team since 2014 and also has a chance Friday to make it 6 wins against them since then. Newton does not have the numbers in the school or on the team to consistently field the type of team to beat WOS. However, they sure are making a good run against them. Both teams will be really good this year for their division and I hope both get to the title game again. I really like Newton's chances getting there in 3AD2. Glad Drew scheduled 4 really tough opponents to open the season. They'll for sure be battle tested early.

What a great game scheduled.. guess I missed this one. Going to keep an eye on it.

35 seniors for a 3A team is crazy! 👀 Good for Franklin having those type of numbers. I believe Newton only has 11 seniors on this years team, which is normal for them year after year. Not many kids to choose from. Good luck to you guys this week.

Interesting! Thanks for the assessment, BG

They will expose and bring people back to answer for their misdeeds. It's going to get interesting.

😂 Them west-enders and other folks (including myself) been saying that ever since they dropped down from 6A. I don't think they make the playoffs again this season 🤷🏾♂️

Isn’t WB supposed to be pretty good this year?

Green is a complete idiot but that’s what he is doing before he gets canned. You said democrats have no plans to impeach…..

This will be a good litmus test as to how much Jasper has improved this year under new leadership.

She passed on to her next great adventure today at 80 years young.

As many others have stated, Broussard is a stud, but LM's quarterback is also a stud. LaMarque graduated about 10 starters last year, but somehow managed to pull in around 5 substantial transfers for this season. Last year when these two met in the playoffs the Cougs were running away with it until a furious Longhorn rally at the end made it a close game. I'm rooting for my Horns, but this should be a difficult matchup for them. A Hamshire-Fannett win by any margin will be a fantastic result.
