Newton started a 9th grader at QB this year. He finished with a QB rating of 142.2.

Woodville has 81 more kids in high school than Newton. When Newton run that many kids we had a sophomore team also. You have to get these kids on the field and playing and being coached. I sat in on a before season coaching meeting where all the coaches from Newton agreed what position and level each player should play at. One thing I noticed that they would not move a kid up unless he was good enough to play. A kid sitting on the bench is a waste. Nothing like experience.
