Need both to make our run. Paredes is a clutch bat. Don’t know his RISP. Abreu has been doing excellent but still need Hader.
-
Isaac Paredes and Josh Hader are getting their follow-up imaging done today on their respective injuries, Joe Espada said.

You were pointing out players having bad games. That happens. I pointed out players being called up due to half the team being on IL. That's a big difference. For some greater part of the season, Houston had to play some of their minor league guys because their major league guys were on the IL. Had nothing to do with performance. Basically due to attrition. Houston being three games up in September after playing most of their season with some minor leaguers on the roster speaks volumes of how well they have played overall. Astros to this date are still in top 5 hitting and top 5 pitching in the AL. Now do they need to get better with runners in scoring position? Yes indeed. That has definitely fallen off the last month. Also, the pitching has been stressed the last month due to a few being on IL. The team ERA has risen a bit. Came up from 3.45 to now 3.83. But that is normal for teams ERA to rise late in season. Arms get weary. All the AL teams ERA has risen the last month, including Texas who has been #1 all season. Their ERA has gone from 3.15 to 3.44. That's just the norm this time of year.

Can you feel the love tonight? The peace the evening brings. The world for once in perfect harmony. With all its living things. I'm starting to think you 2 are best friends that like to see each other mad. God forgive me, I do love it! -

I think the stat man will figure that out. I see as a team they are averaging about a 150 batting average with RISP. This is not what I would call very good, however stat man will think it is ok I noticed when I posted about them having some players that needed to be sent to the minors, he had a hissy fit and posted what he thought were great stats However about a month later he stated that about half the lineup were minor league players I thought that was interesting He went from how tremendous they were to half being minor league players in less than a month It is hard to win when you can’t score runs because your RISP is about .150 They have 24 regular season games left, hopefully they will win at least half of them
-
Yes, even more than that. I just mentioned my two losers.

I agree. What spot he was in the batting order plays a lot in those results. Also, what teams they were playing. I agree. Baseball is nothing but numbers. lol

Gotta love baseball and their stats. For me there are too many other factors. I’m gonna say McCullers was pitching and McCormick was in center during some of the losses. Lol
-
You’re the only one impressed with that nonsense.
-
No he didn’t. All ut did was what u liberals do best. keep up the good work.

I agree that KV is better than Buna.
-
KV is “much better than Buna”. Shepherd is going to be a tough team this year.
-
Astros record this year with Jose Altuve at: 2B: 21-23 LF: 27-16 DH: 24-22 The Astros are 25-11 when Dubon starts at 2nd.

I know some peeps that will be on Woodville's sidelines and up in the press box (our broadcast team that does all Woodville games). I will ask them what's going on with why the pee wee greats are not being played or at least not being played in the right positions. Pretty sure this isn't a completely new coaching staff at Woodville. Obviously a new head coach and a couple of others. But at least half or more on the staff have been there for some years. They should know the personnel of the team and who are the better players. I simply cannot believe that the new HC isn't relying a bit on these coaches info to start the season. Along with seeing for himself thru the practices and scrimmages. He is just "winging it"??? C'mon man!!
-
I made one reference about youth sports pointing out how it's carried on throughout high school up until this point. I never indicated my opinion was only based on youth sports but that's just where you wanted to go with it. At the end of the day you already said you haven't seen this year's team and I'd bet you haven't seen much of previous teams so carry on
-
I know that when any reference at all eludes to a varsity head coach not making sound strategic decisions because of something that took place when that coach's players were in youth sports, then there is zero reason to take that person seriously regarding anything to do with sports. It's true that I have a habit of defending a coaching staff... but the little league reference pushes it over the top with me. The irony of telling someone they have no clue what they're talking about after the implication of varsity success needing to mimic something seen in peewee. Truly hilarious.

Did you happen to see the highlights of the Shepherd/Kirbyville game last week? Better than Buna, yes. Much better? I'm not sure about that just yet.
-
Long story short. You have no clue what your talking about and your just sticking to your usual talking points. That's cool but I had to make sure cause the way your talking I thought you may actually know something.

There's actually no need to have seen them. I'm the the Vice President of the LLFAA (Little League Football Association of America) and we've gotten several applications from peewee coaches of this particular group over the years to be invited to the National Youth Football GALA held in Arlington, Texas every year. The winners each year actually get to practice for a week against the Cowboys. So, yeah.. no need to see them play. These kids are next level famous. In fact, there's currently a petition circulating to remove the current staff for playing said student athletes out of position (per their peewee positions). It's only gone through 9 states as of now. Once we get 100,000 signatures from each of the 50 states, we'll get those clowns on the coaching staff out of there before the team loses to any more schools that are bigger than they are. Coincidently, we searching for short term replacements for after the changes have been made. Are you interested?
