Give me Woodville going undefeated into the playoffs. Yes I said it. It's time to put a stamp on the program. Not saying that Newton won't be Newton, but who cares. Just stack the box on them. Everyone in the world knows that they can't throw more than 2 yards downfield. It's Woodville's preseason and district to lose against any and every opponent they face!
-
I don't think we'll lose any preseason games honestly. Coach Rob was like 32-42 or something which is a little better but would still not look like a great hire to me if our program was where it is now back then. Our program wasn't all that good back then and the previous candidate had changed his mind and took another job so we had to take what we could get. Just happened to work out well.

OF Hardin Anahuac EC we lost Brady B but Brayden Sutch will be a solid little QB we have some returning starters hopefully Neece will take back over the offensive play calling we need some discipline though we’ve been lacking in that department for the last few years

Today, the Supreme Court made a ruling that appears to permanently end what has become too commonplace lately, universal or nationwide injunctions. In the last couple of decades, it has become an issue with federal district judges issuing a ruling in court that stopped a nationwide law or presidential executive order. Federal district judges are the federal equivalent of a county felony judge in Texas. If you get indicted for a felony in Jefferson County, for example, you will go to trial in one of the three felony courts in Jefferson County in Beaumont. The district judge’s authority deals with a motion or a trial in front of that judge. The district judge is not an appeals court level but the trial court level. The Supreme Court just issued a ruling that the universal (nationwide) injunction was beyond the authority of the federal district judges. So when Trump or any future president issues an executive order or the DOJ tries to enforce a federal law, one of the trial court level federal district judges can’t with the stroke of a pen end the order or the law. The case is Trump v. Casa about birthright citizenship. The ruling today has nothing to do with that case which still has to be hurt. What it seem to do was to stop the federal district judges for putting a nationwide halt to executive orders. It seems like this has been brewing for a long time and the Supreme Court finally stepped in. Also Justice Amy Coney Barrett blasted Justice Brown Jackson who dissented in the ruling. Her comment was that Brown Jackson: “Decries an imperial executive while embracing an imperial judiciary”.

Woodville will have a good season. My prediction is we will finish 8-2 (loss in nondistrict and Newton) our District is weak after Newton and us). Possibly 9-1 if the ball bounces our way What was Coach Robinson’s record before Woodville (was it impressive)? If you applied all your previous comments about the new guy to Coach Robinson (before Woodville hired him) you would have been against Coach Robinson being hired. Let’s see where the next 2-4 seasons go.

Seems like the purple figs clobbered the crawling bears by 19 points last year.

When this decision is finally addressed it will be 6-2. Justice Jackson will have to excuse herself as she can’t even define what a woman is… Citizenship would be way out of her (it?) league.
-
Nothing to see with the purple figs. They can't throw a pass more than 5 yards and that's being generous!

Yes AggiesAreWe , the Astros are playing very good right now and the relievers have done a nice job recently Hopefully they will keep it up. Still have a couple of players not hitting but finding a way to win yes you hear the good and bad from me I usually tell it like it is whether you like it or not

Trinity can pass the "eye test". I expect they will have the biggest lineman in the district. Guy is a unit.

You can’t be serious.

Heck every one challenges newton, nothing to see here.

How will you be classified as citizen without birthright citizenship?

This Berry kid, what position does he play and what grade will he be in?

While all my children are grown, the Supreme Court gave Parents with children a huge win today as well as giving them some of their voice back. It does not make any sense why this had to go this far. The school can teach whatever they want, and parents should have an option to opt out of something they don't agree with ad don't want their kid to be a part of.
