For anyone going to the game BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is basically in the parking lot of the stadium. That’s the place I usually stop at several hours before the game and pregame with this stadium. Great food and Cold Beer and literally less than a minute drive to the home side of the stadium. Kountze is gonna be a working progress this season… lost 4/5 starters to graduation. 5th starter Lowe moved to HJ.. First guy off the bench graduated.. then the 2-3 others that got the most playing time on varsity off the bench just aren’t playing this year… Coach Joubert has his work cut out for him this year for sure.

Well… our kids are gonna pile onto a couple of buses and head over to New Caney. When they get there, they’re gonna put on the red and white, bite down on their mouthpieces, and get after Kilgore for 48 minutes. It’s a game that nobody expects BC to win…. Heck, most people are predicting a blowout. But I don’t think so. It’s a chance to see how we stack up against the best- if you ask me, this is the true state championship game. Whoever wins this one should have a cakewalk on through to Jerry World.
