  1. Past hour
  2. Not unless he’s been posting on this site since he was 9.
  3. A country full of hard workers…. imagine that.
  4. Even though Jones didn't get into the endzone last night, he made some really tough runs. But what sets him apart from most players is how well he plays at linebacker. He was very instrumental on that side of the ball as well. Tough hard nosed player who routinely puts himself in position to make a play every play. Like I said, district MVP.
  5. Hardin has really good size on the Oline but EC is pretty light defensively. The advantage was greatly shown last night. Hardin basically played "bully ball". Several "tush pushes" last night as well.
  6. I'm telling you guys, if Jones stays healthy, Hardin is going to have the best season in the history of their program. Anytime a coach who runs this offense is able to match it up with the proper personnel, it's a real problem at all levels. Hardin will not have an issue until they match up with a team who can scheme to stop this offense and make them play defense more than 5-6 times a game. From where I am sitting, it may be 2-3 rounds deep before they find that type of competition. On a side note, Jones is an absolute baller. Stud.
  7. Back to government shutdown…..
  8. I imagine this year will be special.. Depending on matchups they can make a deep run… There will be a few teams in the region that will be able to slow down that offense…
  9. How large is Hardin's OLine? 1 poster mentioned a massive size difference in EC and Hardin upfront. EC is often a bit undersized on the d-line, but the claim was a 100 lb differential. Hyperbole or pretty accurate?
  10. Orangefield JV 31 - Anahuac 0
  11. The score wasn't a reflection of whether the game was close or not. EC scored on a 70+ yard flea flicker about 50 seconds into the game. Then Hardin rattled off 35 unanswered.. eating up most of the remainder of the game. It was a demoralizing display onto the EC d-line. There was zero answer. Hardin even got a couple big yard penalties.. that were completely erased by the next snap or 2. I'm a believer. I had doubts because it's hard to gauge based on a bad preseason schedule.. but the last couple weeks have shown me that the hornet offense is a problem. Congrats CT and Hardin. This has to be a record breaking ride thus far, no?

  13. Sean Simon wound up with 377 yards & 5 TD’s. Probably could have had as many as he wanted. I believe this breaks his record set in the win against Angleton last year.
  14. In the grand scheme everything outside of whats played on the field is meaningless, but our computer model has a pretty decent level of accuracy...99% of 30 point favorites win....still gotta play the games and thats what makes TXHSFB fun...
  15. The Hill got trapped.
  16. I'm currently watching that game right now. Sterling defense looks good.
  17. Another impressive stat from last night. Hardin scored TD's on all 6 of their possessions last night. (I don't count the last possession that was a one play kneel down to end game) No question in my mind who the district MVP is this season. Trevor Jones. Case closed
  18. Shepherd was inconsistent last year. Very talented but had some weird losses and close games against teams not very good. I do expect them to have a very solid season this year though.

  21. If you have Texan Live go back and watch the 4th quarter... WILD On BH's last possession, Barrier chunked a bomb and 4th and 12 that was completed down inside the 10 yard line, but he was 1 yard past the line of scrimmage 😲
  22. We will get past it as soon as the swearing in of Adelita Grijalva.
