The 1987 regular season was closed out with a 28-14 win over LC-M and a 32-8 win over Silsbee.. so allow less than 25 points in the next two games and you'll be ahead of the undefeated 1987 State Champs in regards to points allowed.

the mustangs came rolling into the little town of buna thinking well looks like we got another easy one SUPRISE buna showed the mustangs  that thay are no push over  and the kids played there hearts out the city of buna should be proud of them. i was a little suprised by bunas size that had some beef up front  and tomorrow its going to be hard to get out of bed. the running backs of buna were very hard to bring down and had a good game plan ready for wo-s. i wish buna all the best  you got some great kids you gave wo-s more than what thay expeted.i can tell you this the mustangs must put 4qt togather  soon PS sorry for the spelling

I said in a earlier thread that Silsbee will beat WO-S.

One more game before they meet, may both teams stay injury free.

[/quote]Aggie, I disagree, I don`t see Bridge City scoring on WOS so that would give WOS 8 shut-outs for the 10 game regular season.

[/quote]The comments from the Silsbee fans on here have always been respectfull to The WOS team. No need for Disrespect in return by the WOS fans. Silsbee is not BC, Buna or OF. Silsbee took care of these teams plenty easy enough With room to spare.  This game will happen.  And Im sure it will be a packed stadium. There will be people from all around coming to see this game. I have already heard many people not within these two schools.  Saying they were coming to see this game. Both teams should be proud of that.  Good luck to the two teams. and I prey everyone comes out of this game injury free. And ready to make their playoff runs complete and healthy.

WOS has a great defense! I think this maybe one of the highest scoring Silsbee teams of alltime as well. Silsbee has averaged better than 40ppg all season with the exception on game one. In their last few games, they could have put up 60 if they chose too. WOS won't shut out Silsbee, but I dont expect Silsbee to score more than 21. I think Silsbee wins! I will say this, Silsbee's 1st team defense hasn't given up much in district either.

It should be the game of the regular season..ranking it ahead of Nederland-Vidor because it is later in the season and [u]obviously [/u]for all the marbles. Should be a great game. I think Tiger fans respect us and we do them. I kinda dislike comparing this team on paper to the 77 team. Honestly, we were a big school and probably facing better competition but you have to take into consideration that most of these kids on this team play both ways. Talent wise this may be a slightly better team on defense overall. We'll see if we get the same results.

[/quote]WOS Will represent SE TEXAS well . And they do have one heck of a Defence. I believe Silsbee will do well in the playoffs as well. I really wanted another shot at Huffman But it Dont Look like we are gona get it. First thing is everybody stay healthy.  Yooo Hoooo Lets Go 21 3A

I can assure Tiger fans that once the playoffs start..Mustang fans will be rooting for you. I'd be surprised if the Tigers don't at least go two or more deep.
