  1. Idk about this. Jordon yes. Guilbeau isn’t #2, he isn't even the best player in the 409 from his class. Jordon is #1 but Tyrone Brown is probably #2, then Bryce Anderson, then maybe Guilbeau in my opinion. But all of them are D1 football players so it’s apples to oranges
  2. 2021. The top guys for 2020 are already known pretty much.
  3. Already committed to Baylor. Brown can play. Might be the best LB to ever come out of WOS.
  4. Who are some names that will be the next bigtime stars in this area?
  5. When he ran for 365 yards on WOS I think that put him over the top.
  6. What ever happen to Deshawn Washington? Greatest Nederland Bulldog defender ever arguably, went to A&M and then disappeared from the college football world.
  7. Hunt from Jasper should have been on the offense list. Until he got hurt he was the most electric player in the 409.
  8. My guess would be Barlow and Mcgraw, maybe Barlow and Teel from WOS.
  9. McGrue is going to have to prove himself at the juco level. He’s undersized with only one year as a starter. If he does well in juco he will get a chance at a FCS or small FBS team.
  10. Yep, should go down as the best RB in Jasper football history.
  11. I just had a Jasper coach talk to me about these two kids.
  12. I like Quincy but I don’t know if he’s a FBS guy. He has to get more explosive if he wants to be a DT in college and if he’s going to be a FBS O-lineman he has to grow and gain weight.
  13. WOS lacked elite skill position talent this past year. QB was a issue but he (they) weren’t being helped much by their supporting cast. The best player on the offense was the RB and he was injured much of the year to the point he wasn’t 100% in a lot of games. This past senior class was probably the weakest in 10+ years for WOS in terms of skill position talent. i expect WOS the next 2-3 years to have another possible state championship run/runs.
  14. Thad Johnson from Beaumont Westbrook. The Vidor QB (will play LB in college) is a D1 guy. James Sylvester from Newton. Montavien Hunt from Jasper. Terrien Collins from Jasper. Who else am I missing guys?
  15. Been hearing about a young kid from PA Memorial that plays defense and RB who’s supposedly already 6’3 200+
  16. Need to add Gage Galloway to this list. 6’2 200 Safety/LB from Vidor. D1 guy. [Hidden Content]
  17. This is horrible news. Great athlete, smart mind and a amazing young man. May God be with his family and loved ones.
  18. All of WOS’s facilities are 20 years outdated. But I think coach T likes it like that, keeps the hard work mentality going.
  19. They didn’t make the list for the reasons you stated, Ingram didn’t play this year, he’s getting rave reviews out of Carthage but he hasn’t done anything on varsity yet, gotta make sure he’s not living off his brothers name. crawford didn’t start this year despite being 6’5 280, there are 5 O-like spots on the field, if he was that good he would have started over somebody, Carthage was talented but they didn’t have 5 FBS or FCS guys on that O-line.
  20. I’m talking about FBS D1 Guys. Not McNeese. WOS has been sending guys to D1 schools yearly, this is Newton’s first year having multiple FBS guys. WOS had 7 FBS DBs on campus at one time a few years back.
  21. Even with 5 D1 recruits if Newton were to play WOS this year they would probably lose or it would be a close win by Newton. FYI WOS has had more then 5 D1 recruits on campus multiple times, this is only new to Newton HS.
