Wos upsetting Yates? You don't believe that.. Your just babbling sir.
WOS will be the most in shape team Yates has played along with the most physical and deepest team they play in the region. WOS has 7 guys averaging 6ppg and 3 averaging 10ppg WOS subs in 7-9 guys no matter who they are playing. WOS basketball team went through the offseason with the football team this year these guys are physical
*Yawns* if you say so.
and who's your team sir??
Your only as good as your last game. Silsbee last two games have been loses WOS's last two games have been wins. And if you think Silsbee is faster then WOS your a funny guy. And Dude I can promise you WOS wins tomorrow
 5. WOS is bigger stronger and faster then both Silsbee and HJ. ALso WOS has some kids that play chippy so they wont be scared of yates. IMO WOS and Silsbee can beat Yates

Deionte Thompson, Trey Spencer amd Chase Rutledge at WOS will all play college ball
Deionte Thompson is rated the top safety in Texas for the class of 2015. He's going to Alabama's junior day this weekend.
Trust me I know.
 8. Many people use this username and no the claims are accurate. Im one of the above mentioned and what jkb is saying isn't 100% true but he's not to far off.
 9. Blake Chavis lefy because he called coach Woodard out on his bs coaching. Its amazing how Oden could pass all his classes at Arkansas but couldn't pass at Lamar. Jeremy Johnson was promised the QB job Woodard didn't keep his promise.  Garrett was not on a full scholarship.
 10.

Only 9 of the guys on that list that you highlighted arr on scholarship. You guys keep proving my point. The rest walked on because they were attending Lamar as a regular student. Go back and check Lamar's signing classes. Its a reason all the talentes kids are leaving the program. Is it the kids?? I dont think so. Is it the coaches? I think so because there system sure hasnt produce wins on the field. Someone mentioned theyd love to see the WOS head coach or the PAM head coach apply fot the job after Woodard is let go and i agree im sure those two would run laps around Woodard when it comes to coaching
Can you give me a couple examples of, "all the talented kids leaving the program"?  I'm not aware of any talent leaving the program, except for graduating seniors.  And, where is all of this talent going?
Blake Chavis (A&M signee out of highschool) Greg Odens younger brother I cant think of his name right now, Jeremy Johnson (WVU out of highschool) Depauldrick Garrett left the program because Woodard wouldn't give him a full scholarship, Lamar signed a kid out of juco that had a USC off out of highschool he left the program.  And there are more I could go on and on.

Montana to me was a ok high school player but that doesn't mean lamar should offer. Prolly got someone better than a small vidor LB
Both the WOS linebackers have good grades. WOS has that rep for kids having bad grades but every year all our kids who sign D-1 qualify people are so silly. And PS Montana would have killed Newton.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA OK whatever you say buddy. So if the two linebackers didn't have grade issues why didn't Lynch stay with McNeese?
Lynch never had a scholarship from Mcneese that was Colin Janice and he switched to Arkansas State genius.  And Daniel Woodson is and all A&B student. Also only 8 of those players highlighted on that list FULL scholarships paying for a kids books is not a scholarship even though for braggimg rights player parents and player themselves will say it is.

And please point out what kid he offered from this area that had other southland or juco offers besides Robert Mitchell (only other offer was Kilgore JC). The fact is Ray Woodard has ignored PAM and WOS for the most part along with the rest of the Triangle. But he can go sign kids from other area's of the state and as far as New York. If the guy had a brain he'd be milking PAM Mcneese and WOS. Just like Mcneese does
He offered and got a verbal from Fisk at PAM and he chose Morgan State on signing day and offered OT Justin Reasons from PNG and he chose SFA. Theres two this year! Hate to burst your bubble with FACTS. Most of the PAM kids are choosing FBS schools over LU because they are FBS talent. PAM players the past few years have gone to Arkansas, Baylor, UofH amongst others. LU will be hard pressed to beat them out.
Let me bust your bubble.  You just proved my point idiot!! Ricky Fisk choose Morgan State because they recruit the Golden Triangle hard he will go up there and see familiar faces if Lamar did the same he would have gotten Ricky. And the PNG kid choosing SFA over Lamar is a no brainer why go to Lamar where a guy CANT recruit when you can go to SFA and play for conference titles? The D-End from nederland only had and offer from Lamar so thats why he choose Lamar. And just because they talk to kids doesn't mean he's offered them. The Stampley kid from Nederland and The Shaw kid could have helped Lamar out but he doesn't want 409 kids that dont have better offers then Lamar. And of course PAM kids are going to go FBS if they have those offers my point is that Woodard only offers the kids with better offers then Lamar so he can say he's trying to recruit the Triangle. But he can offer a kid from Longview that doesn't have a offer from anywhere. And before you guys say anything about grade risk being a reason he doesn't offer PAM kids and WOS kids he offered and sign a running back from Corsicana last year that was a grade risk. Ps soryy for calling you and idiot.
 14. Lamar offered all the kids that had D-1 offers of course they're not going to go to Lamar. 15. The Crosby fan is right even though I feel like he is being a hater. Montana doesn't have and offer. Of course with how good a player he is people will say he does to defend the kid. But the BYU deal was a walk on situation his parents can more then afford it from what im told. And he's not and elite enough player to request a school holds his scholarship for two years while he goes on a mission. Some people need to stop being blinded fans and think logically. And do some research, the elite players who do decide they are going on these missions and have a understanding with the coach and University still sign scholarship papers their senior year. With that being said Ray Woodard is and idiot I would have signed this kid!
 16.
Just because he played well in high school doesn't mean lamar should sign him. He is average. Just because golden triangle sports reporters voted doesn't mean he is the best player. Kevin Shorter for one example is a better offensive player. Just my opinion. But congrats to him
Dude  the district Montana played in id take him over Shorter. Kevin is nice matter of fact he is very nice and I respect Newton's program, but your hyping this kid up a lot when he didn't play anybody worth a dang this year imo. If he plays in Nederland's district his stats would be cut in half and Newton probably doesn't make the playoffs

 18.
What D2 schools has LU lost to? I would like to see some of these guys get a shot, but is recruiting local guys that nobody else is recruiting the answer? The guys you mentioned were great HS players and I'd love to see them get a fair shot. But, LU is not the only team to show little interest.
The two WOS linebackers just signes to a top 10 junior college. And Montana just won the Willie Ray Smith Award on both sides of the ball. And also if you look at Lamar's recruiting class none of their recruits had many offers I think one kid had four and that was the most out of all recruits.  There is no reason Lamar shouldnot be living at WOS and PAM. And cherry picking all the top kids from the 409 that dont go big school.
 19. Should I call out coach Woodard for not offering Montana and the WOS linebackers?? Its choices like this that is the main reason Lamar isn't competing with other Southland teams and losing to D-2 schools.
 20.
He had a few offers but turned them down because he wants to go on mission for his church. He WILL attend BYU when he gets back from his mission.
I talk to one of the Vidor coaches and he said Montana didn't but its very possible he was mistaken because Montana can no doubt play ball
 21. Whoever hires Goodwin from Center is getting a better coach then they before he got there.
 22.
I love when I hear guy is not big enough or fast enough to play at the next level.  Texas would not take drew brees or Johnny football..they were not big enough!  London fletcher was too small.  Do you know how fast Montana is?  Do you know how big he is?  I bet you don't know either.  To say no quality players in his district is crazy.  To say he would get smashed is stupid. I tell you what.. Keep talking bad about him,  you never know.. You may look as stupid as those guys that said Johnny football was too small.
I didn't make those statements. Parents on here that know me will tell you I talk to college coaches on a daily basis. The statement I made above is what a Mcneese coach told me and a Navarro junior college coach told me when I tried to get them to take Montana. Ps all the guys yo u named had D-1 offers coming out of highschool so even though I understand your point its not exactly the same situation.  And like I said IMO Montana would make a pretty dang good linebacker in college. He could go to Lamar and start right now imo. But colleges wont take a chance on him.
 23.

Nobody gave him a offer. He's under-sized and not fast compared to college football players.
He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or Mormon, for short! He wants to go on a mission before playing football! He hopes he can play for BYU once his mission is completed!
I respect that. But that fact would not keep teams from offering him a scholarship. and LH_Dave yes he did give teams fits. But how many of those kids are top defenders? Solid teams yes. But from talking to scouts his game doesn't translate to the next level. He is under-sized and while he is strong for high-schoolers in college there would be guys that would possibly knock him into next week. I wish a juco or Lamar would have given him a shot though
 24.
HJ will upset Yates!
for Silsbee sake you better hope so. But I doubt it
