Alright SETX those of you who know me know what I do, I work to get gets into college. There's many parents that will attest to this. I had a conversation with a junior college coach, who asked me to help his team fill out their respective class. The junior college is in Texas ( Navarro, Kilgore, Blinn, Cisco,, Tyler Junior College, Trinity Valley) if anybody has some film they want to post of a kid that they feel can play ball at the next level please post it and I will send the kids name, school and film to the coaching staff. I know some parents sometimes feel that junior college is beneath their child but a free education is not no matter where they are getting it from. So guys please let me know usually I just hand select a few kids or kids ask me personally to send their film.  But someone is always left out I dont want that to be the case this year. Thanks for your time.

[/quote] Roberts is good but he doesn't get near Montana. Montana had 2144 yards and 35 TD's this season and that was with playing both sides of the ball and leading the team in tackles as well. And that's playing both sides of the ball in 4A. Something you rarely see and even more rarely see those numbers while doing so. Just imagine what Montana would have done if he was just running the ball. Everyone who has seen both players says Montana is the better player. And to answer the question about Lamar is because Montana has chosen to follow his beliefs and go on a mission for his church. Afterwards he will attend BYU. Because i know for a fact a couple junior colleges have asked me if he has any D-1 offers and with Montana being academically qualified all he would need is to play one year juco ball before he could have his pick of what D-1 school he wants to attend.

You don't understand how difficult it was for him to even want to play football this year because of what he's going thru. Tony making the All-American team and getting the offers he's gotten thus far is some of the only bright moments he's had this year and you the adult want to steal his shine. Watched the entire game they ran the ball down Ozens throat while Tony was at safety. He then moved to corner where he was then hit with a couple of passes to his side. He made a play on two of them that I saw (one is on his highlight tape) then to rover where he was largely in-effective

If you look at almost all my post I said he's a great kid from a great family and a great student. This comments have nothing to do with Tony as s person but only as a football player.

I only saw Brown in person once but I was kind of taken back by how well he moved with that kind of length. When you lost by 31 to the best team on your schedule you can't throw in Bridge City stats to make up for it. Rhodes' numbers may look better but Brown did his work on PA Memorial, Vidor, Nederland, 3A-D1 champ Stephenville, and did the best job I've seen on potential Big 12 rival Realon Singleton who goes about 6'4" and nearly 200 lbs, the same kid who the next week looked like Randy Moss against state semi-finalist Manor's dbs. Brown is rated a lot higher than even Earl Thomas who cam out of Stark so unless you think the current WOS dbs are better than Thomas you shouldn't even make an argument 'cause the people that do it for a living think Brown should be better than them all. The others were average. And u guys dropped 8 people into coverage against Navasota WOS went man to man the whole game. I will post that film also. The same kids that were roasted by Navasota? TB plays in an area where we don't have many pass heavy offenses so he's not going to get those big int numbers down here. He's pretty tall for a corner, has elite speed, and is very rangy which is excellent for batting down balls while you're out of position. Recruiting now is as much about what you do on the summer camp circut as it is on the field. Brown has a possibility to be the first five star (ESPN) I can ever remember from this region and I don't believe guys that pay their mortages by ranking and recruiting these kids are going to take a chance at ruining their reputations with a kid on a 4-7 team from Beaumont, TX. This is the type kid that Brown, Saban, and Sumlin only expect to be on campus for 3 years if he stays healthy. I've said it on several posts before, "this kid will be a millionaire by the time he's 21" Have you ever seen Tony play in person? If not shut up. And stop looking at recruiting websites.
