High school football season kicks off this week. Here is my schedule for Week 1:

 

Thursday

Nederland at Beaumont West Brook         pregame meal, Papadeaux's

Friday

West Orange-Stark at Newton                  pregame meal, Cedar Tree in Jasper

Saturday

Abilene Christian at Lamar                       pregame meal at tailgate (menu for this game is pork a bobs and wings)

making the 1 hr 20 minute drive from toledo bend to corrigan to watch the hardin hornets

10 plus years out of coaching and have seen 2 or 3 regular season games the entire time. All changes this year with a sparkle and glitter daughter on the sidelines.  Yippie, I say with absolutely no enthusiasm. 

HF hosting LaMarque for me at what will be the first of what I fear is quite a few Thursday and Friday nights messing my MLB TV.  Kinda looking forward to it, but don't tell my child!

No kids in school anymore so probably following scores on here and maybe trying out the new network for home games. Just might attend a couple

I’ll be at all of them, too. Got a kid twirling, plus I’m doing some coaching at HF this year and will be a little more present at sporting events.
