Darth Texas Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 I can’t see PNG losing this one, but might as well discuss. Hoping a lot of the starters get to rest. PNG came out banged up against Huntsville. And, a good chance to cultivate depth in the twos and threes. Quote

prepballfan Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 Perfect time for this game PNG has been through a rough stretch of physical teams. Time to heal up. Quote

Per JJ's post-game interview he was planning to begin getting ready for the Splendora game yesterday (Sunday). The starters will start I'm sure unless they're injured. The second half will probably be similar to the second half of the MLC game. That doesn't mean that the coaches will relax. "They all wear the same uniform", says coach JJ. If a second or 3rd or 4th team player screws up, then they will get a talking to. prepballfan 1 Quote

lcm93 Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 Poor splendora!! They will never see 4a again!! They were bottom feeders in 4a !! Quote
prepballfan Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 53 points? dang. Coach Joseph does not like to run up the score. I have seen him have the 2nd string in in quarter 2. Quote

navydawg31 Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 Will splendora get a touchdown…? In what Quarter does PNG break 50 points in? Quote

I wouldn’t be surprised by a 28-0 first quarter, with 2nd string taking over the rest of the game. End up with a quiet 42-7 or something like that. Splendora seems to be even worse than last year. I hope Tyson Henry and some of the other banged up guys don’t even see the field. I might go watch Nederland this week, tbh. navydawg31 1 Quote

On the victory+ broadcast, it showed pretty clearly that his lower leg got pinned vertically in a pile, and then he got pushed back - his knee went with his body, his shin stayed put. Looked bad. It could be just a sprain but I also wouldn’t be surprised by him missing a lot of time. That would be a big loss, to him and the team. But we haven’t heard anything definitive from anyone.
