If they would have left CT alone they would have had a winning year imo. I hear CT is gonna be making come back😉

CT wanted one more year with that team. Was very optimistic about a possible state appearance with all the returning players.Sorry but can't mention the source I heard it from.

Geez...it was just for fun...everyone calm down! This thread has NOTHING to do with PNG. I hope they win state...would be good for the area! I live in San Antonio so NO ONE here is talking about WOS or even know they exist...so pump the brakes on that. And if you actually went down the list...there were quite a few losses predicted.

This year should have some people really doing some thinking… those guys who believed WOS “bloodlines” are the reason for so much success and the guys who thought that PNG couldn’t compete demographically were both proven wrong.

i think that these two programs will be pointed out in the future during those conversations about the importance of coaching in high school football. It’s a big component… a huge one. Definitely not an afterthought.

Agreed. It's a mix of everything though. Coaches, players and the peripheral components (community that backs the school district spending money on the program, for one).

I go back and look and the loss to PN-G and it does not look so bad now.
I was standing on the sidelines on Newton’s 4 th down and 5 yds and when they took the measurement Newton got the 1 st down by 1 inch. One inch shorter and WOS wins that game.
WO-S is still WO-S.  They are not done yet. The negative needs to stop and give this new system a chance.   I can remember a time ago when some of the fans were after CT .
