Somewhere around 60,000 people die from the flu and guess what, we even have vaccines. So, maybe if we get vaccines for Covid, the death rate will lower to an acceptable 60,000 and we will learn to live with it. Imagine that, Trump is right again. Some people will just have to deal with that fact. Anyone who blames Trump for all the Covid deaths has absolutely no brains and should just shut their pie hole.

Preach to their deaf ears

Experts state that the flu is not as virulent. It doesnt spread as easy as Covid-19.

Even though this may be true right now (all of the facts are still not in and there are some controversies) we are still going to have to live with Covid, just like HIV/AIDS. So where is the error in Trump’s remark? There isn’t one. Dims are just looking for any opening so they can throw their Silly Willy darts.
Sorry smashmouth, had to steal it

I agree. But who decides the threshold of acceptance of deaths from a virus? In the 2017/2018 Flu season, U.S. flu death estimates reach close to 100,000. Not as many by the China virus , for sure, but still a helluva lot considering we have flu vaccines, experience with flu cases and treatment and a much better understanding of that the flu virus in general. Does that mean if we can get the death toll down to 100,00 a year or so (give or take a few thousand souls) it’s all ok? Who comes up with the threshold - who gets to decide?

They accept hundred of thousands of murders each year by doctors and mothers.  Why is 200,000 not acceptable.

Those numbers don’t jibe with CDC. 2019:  34,500/35,000,000 Flu death to infection ratio. Latest COVID-19 numbers:  211,000/7,600,00. Do I need to do the math, too?

Per CDC 99.97% survival rate. You must have a U T infection ( Urinary Tract Infection ) to believe this is such a deadly virus.
