Tonight, the Newton Eagles look to remain atop District 11-3A-II as they host the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs tonight!  The Eagles, 3-4 on the season, come into tonight's game with a 2-0 district mark after a 38-35 win over Crockett last Friday.  Meanwhile, the Bulldogs, 4-3 on the season, evened their district record at 1-1 last Friday with a 34-14 win over Hemphill.

I was told that Gabe was out for 4 weeks, our best wide receiver and best blocker on the end sweep is out for the year. I think the other two players will be back in one or to weeks. I don't remember CC having a first down on our first team defense.  CC had all their players back except one running back.
