Are we really making accurate judgements on some scrimmages?  I remember some of our better teams lost scrimmages early...let's see what they do under the bright lights....

Soulja, if you take the jerseys off these teams and look at strengths and weaknesses of both what would your prediction be? A weak o-line against a team that defensive front is their strength. A huge o-line and strong running game against a team that lacks defensive depth.

I've been watching football in the area for a long time and I can say this.... There is WAY too many athletes in Beaumont to keep getting beat down by Nederland and PNG.  Too many coaching changes.  Not enough community support.  Who keeps hiring these coaches that no one likes???  Just keep in mind when you hire a new coach it takes time for him to get his program running.  And if you don't support the coaches, the kids will not believe in them either.  I'm predicting WB to win by 17 because I think they will dominate the line of scrimmage.

I agree on the coaching issues... French, West Brook, Hebert, those schools had some great teams... I do think that in this time and day, kids do different things, and some just transfer to other areas for exposure... Even little ole PNG has seen it.. 2 kids leave and end up at SLC, win state championships in HS and get the exposure... But alot has to do with coaching... I mean, Ozen couldnt even figure out how to use Chris James a few years back....If he would have transferred to PNG, he would have made us a legit... Central has D1 kids all over the field... PNG hasnt put out a D1 kid in years. Nederland once in a while....

I'm actually pretty credible when it comes to predicting against Central hence the regional final 5 months ago lol I'm almost always right when I predict things
