Rushing attack must be stout to only throw that many times... that record LOOKS like they can't throw when they're in trouble though. I think Crosby's front can keep them at bay. Hopefully Crosby's offense can get them ahead early and plc will have to play catch up


Do the SandCrabs run the wing T or the slot T? The Cougars better have a better game plan to stop it than they did when they played Vidor a few years back...

Port Lavaca was down 14-0 first quarter.
Outscored Marshall 30-0 rest of the way.

They run a triple option that is difficult to stop if they can hold onto the ball. Remember they went to the Region Final last year. Brenham was able to stop them. Should be a good game.

I was at the state semi game last year. Im not sure how many kids they graduated off of that team, but I will say this. They were HUGE up front, but not very quick. We were able to get penetration all day, and force those early pitches that caused the turnovers. They are not very good at passing the pall, as they were still running the option when they were down 42-14 in the second half. We got them rattled early and they were never able to recover. Expect a really big fan turnout by PLC, as they really follow their team well.

The truth hapoened!
They had been able to recruit talented players = requires less coaching.
Less talent = Requires more Coaching , and the lack of gets exsposed for what it really is.
Marshall has run the same plays for 4 years , and that 2 quarterback system he forces on the kids aint working.

Calhoun put 460 yards on the ground , threw the ball maybe 4 times.

Marshall probably wont make the playoffs next year......notice the steady decline.
