Will BISD Hire BMT Ozen a Good Coach or still search for that 8 & 12 Used Car Salesman?

True Character, something the entire District lacks from top to bottom. SMH

Amen!  And a Disciplined but Fair program with no favoritism.  He will also need thick skin along with support from parents and administration.  The coach and administration have to be in it for the long haul and in it for the right reasons (helping develop young men who become productive members of society).  If you focus on those things, the wins will come because the talent is there.

I can deal with favortism, that's part of it. I'm talking about a guy with Character & qualities you mentioned above Athletic Supporter.

Curious to know what 4 applicants made the final 4 for the Ozen head football coaching job. A very qualified coach comes to mind that can and have connected with the student athletes at that school previously. ''IMO'' BISD will need to spend some Neumann/Faircloth ''MONEY''!!!! to get Arthur or a proven head coach. No change will come with the hiring

of less unless there's another Toby Foreman out there, Oh by the way was he was destined to be Ozen head coach but some slick moves by well i want go there. The fix was in and instead Ozen got McGee B) ......The hiring process is ridiculously too slow ,which implies the seriousness is not there ! The Ozen parents and fans should get your AD energized ! However it dosent take rocket science to determine the motive ijs B) Opinions we all have our own...

From my sources I hear the applicants are pretty much average coaches nothing for Ozen fans to get excited about.

here is the skinny:

Joe Bowser

Bell Cobb

Caleb Caeser

Kevin Dotson

these were the four finalists.  the job was never posted as an 'official' opening.  that way they never had to give a list of applicants to the media when they asked.  it was done in secret, because there was an agenda in place  - can you believe BISD would be secretive about something?  the process was flawed from the beginning.  there will be a coach named tonight at the board meeting - so how do you name a coach, if there was never a posting and so, never a formal interview process?

It's funny that this process took place the way it did. Central's hires didn't. West Brook's didn't. Ozen's previous hires didn't. How is this BISD hire different? Very strange...

Maybe that certain person had her hand in the cookie jar again... its obvious she didn't care for Ozen from the jump that's why they got the last bad coach!!

I thought that legally,  they are required to post it for at least 10 days to the public, even if they already have some in mind for the position.  But that is incorrect.  It is up to the local school district.
