What's everybody's prediction for 9-5A-D2? Good competition in this district.
Huntsville lost alot from last year's group DCTF has them as the favorite but I like Montgomery who's got Keldrid Ben back after 1500 yards rushing last year

Prayers to the family of Mr Mota he was very much a legend at LC-M like Dudley Metreyeon and Pete Delahoussaye were at Nederland. The softball field at LC-M is named after him.

Sadly, a lot of school districts choose to let the pervert resign so they don't have to report it and take the time to go to court. If you remember several years ago a Memorial coach was jailed for this and when it came out that there were allegations at other schools, the girl sued those schools. I don't remember the outcome of the lawsuits. My favorite professor at Lamar, Coach John Payton, always told us to never be alone with any of your students. I have lived by his advice now for 33 years.
Sadly im familiar this situation because I worked with his father at the plant for years and he was a good man god rest his soul. As far as the coach goes it was Facebook that did him in he had allegations of various kinds at LC-M Nederland Orangefield and Memorial. The young lady then sued Orangefield and Memorial but it was dismissed

As we are about 2 months out from the first non district game to be played so that we can pass the time I wanted to start a thread of discussion of which teams have the toughest non district slate schedule for this season based of the DCTF pre season rankings I’ve seen floating around already.
PN-G's non-district schedule is pretty salty
Port Arthur Memorial
West Brook

behind a paywall, can we get the summary?
Bryson Kennedy, the highly touted 2029 quarterback from Little Rock, Arkansas who transferred to Duncanville this past semester, was ruled ineligible for the season Tuesday, according to a now-deleted social media post from his father.“I know everyone was looking forward to Bryson being the starting QB for Duncanville, but it won’t happen due to Bryson being ineligible,” Kennedy’s father, Anthony, said in a Facebook post that also appeared to share an email informing him of the decision.
Duncanville ISD has not responded to a request for comment.
The ruling appears to stem from a podcast appearance Bryson made in February. In his post, Anthony also shared a clip of the podcast, in which his son said “I feel like the opportunity was better for me as a player,” after being asked why he came to Duncanville.
Bryson Kennedy was the starting quarterback for Little Rock Central as a freshman in 2025 and already boasts offers from power programs such as Arkansas, Auburn and Missouri. He was expected to compete for the starting job this fall at Duncanville.
“I spent over $15,000 moving to Duncanville out of my own pocket; no one paid us, so we returned to our home school, Little Rock Central,” his father’s Facebook post read.
Bryson’s X account also no longer lists Duncanville in his profile

The latest news I the other day was that the Bulldogs possibly hired the wrong man for head coach and they do not expect the Bulldogs to be very successful this season
So if Scott Rich wasn't the right guy who was the right guy?
