IT IS CALL RESPECT! if you do not have enough respect for who you are playing to show enough class to tell the other team good game or atleast just shake their hands win OR lose, then you shouldn't be on the field... end of story... HS football isn't about winning or losing, i dont care what anyone says, it's about the life lessons they learn and the discipline they learn while playing the sport that helps them later on in life! I played high school football aloooooooooong time ago. When the game was over, usually both teams stayed on the field and sought out players that had impressed them during the game and then they chatted a bit. It was not necessary to line up the teams and mandate that they shake hands. It just came naturally to go tell somebody "Good Hit" when he had knocked your lights out in the second quarter. But back then things were much less complicated. Your right.....I think message boards, cell phones, all this instant comminication has added much more pressure to the game. Now a kid can come online and see 100 people talking about his or his teams performance.

Doesn't mean it doesn't happen...the posted speed limit is 35...who drives 35? I drive 35, of course the posted speed limit on Chance Cut-Off is 30. ;D I hate that street !!! I have received 2 tickets on that street...

Lumberton Jr. White is the number 1 seed. ??? ???. Wos Jr. White was the under dogs coming into the season. ;) I watched Lumberton White last weekend agianst BC......Lumberton has speed and those boys can hit and hit hard. Actually on both sides of that game was some hard hits....... Have u seen Wos Jr. White play yet? ??? ???. ;D ;D. So telling me more speed than Wos Jr. White? That's why Wos Jr. White is the under dogs. :-X :-X :-X WOS has a reputation of hard hits and speed.....trust me, our peewee team plays WOS this sat. and we are preparing for a hard hitting game. I have nothing but respect for WOS talent. The coach for WOS peewee is a stand up guy as well. Also, I was not comparing who was faster, just making a statement about L-whites speed and hits aginast BC. We will know Saturday the outcome of that game...... Question ask about the Jrs not Peewee I know.....what I was saying, 1. WOS all teams has reputation of speed and hard hitting. 2. Lumberton Jr. white agianst BC jr.......hard hitting game and I witnessed lots of speed on Lumberton White. 3. Was just bringing up the WOS reputation issues is in peewee as well as any class.

I'm a Lumberton fan, but I recognize that PNG is doing well the season. new coach with a brand new program.....and he's winning......I'm not sure what else he could do....

Gonna try to plan something in a few weeks........I'll throw some dates out there and see which ones you can make.

May have to try that........woould like to try crabbing in there I like crabbing in that fairly large (for out there) bayou or cut coming out of the left/south side of Johnson's Lake. I have caught as many as 30 dozen in one morning. I don't know if it has recovered from Ike or not but that was a killer spot. Go into that cut toward the old fish/duck camp. When it curves to the right is where we anchor off, just out of the current. That curve is pretty deep also compared to the surrounding area and has some good Redfish in it sometimes. You can sometimes see them come up and grab bait while you are crabbing. well, TVC...since your offering your guide service, maybe we should plan a trip.........may bring bullets as well......I owe him a trip

Did they improve the ramp?? Last time I used it was years ago with a 14 ft aluminum boat and remember it being shallow. I've seen boats going out of there that I didn't think could do it. They dug it out and put up the bulkheads. May have to try that........woould like to try crabbing in there

I think so......but not 100% sure. I know right after Ike, I used the ramp at the 4 way stop in Sabine. It was ok......that's usually where I put in and then run the intercoastal to the Keith lake bridge. The ramp I was talking about for Keith lake was at Hansens place. I think I remember seeing trailers there after Ike. It's a REAL shallow boat ramp. I would be scared I could not get my boat out.

I might be late on this, but do not put that boat in Keith lake. There are only 2 ways to get there, the ramp and under the bridge. I have a 22ft center console and went under the bridge one time.......lots of post under water, so have to trim motor up. Once I got in there it was not to bad.....leaving, the tide had came up and my top rail scraped bridge as I went under.....fast....tide was leaving. The thing about tide is, if its moving 10 miles an hour, you have to go 11 mph to steer. So, if you try it, be careful. The ramp (last I checked) was too shallow for my boat......i float in about 14-16 inches of water. Its not worth screwing up your boat to get in there......if you want to fish in there, buy a cheap aluminum boat with a small motor. JMO.... ;D
