I might be late on this, but do not put that boat in Keith lake. There are only 2 ways to get there, the ramp and under the bridge. I have a 22ft center console and went under the bridge one time.......lots of post under water, so have to trim motor up. Once I got in there it was not to bad.....leaving, the tide had came up and my top rail scraped bridge as I went under.....fast....tide was leaving. The thing about tide is, if its moving 10 miles an hour, you have to go 11 mph to steer. So, if you try it, be careful. The ramp (last I checked) was too shallow for my boat......i float in about 14-16 inches of water. Its not worth screwing up your boat to get in there......if you want to fish in there, buy a cheap aluminum boat with a small motor. JMO.... ;D

If they didn't call it for either side then it sounds about fair.They don't call alot of penalties the first week of games. Our referees were very good and very helpful. My line was a little in the neutral zone and they gave me an opportunity to correct it before they called it. Our ref's did OK......they did make a mistake and not stop the clock between 1st and 2nd quarter. They called a few offsides.......but no holding calls and we were both guilty of that. So all in all they did a good job. as for the game, we lost fair and square........15 - 13..........had a safety last couple minutes of the game. Our offensive line needs some work......nederland was blowing past them causing us grief in the backfield. We get the o-line fixed and we should be in good shape.

I just talked to the head coach and a scrimmage was never offered. The only thing that was offered was his defense against our offense for 30 minutes if we needed it......but, we had already had a full scrimmage in the works from another city ....so we opted for that because we wanted a full scrimmage and to play some new meat. The reason I keep talking about week 5 is because that's when you get to see our offense.....up close and personal ;D when somebody like newindian or hippy talk all the time about how good they are it mean they no good. raiderman the close and personal look at his offense he talkin about is your defense all up in his backfield hahahahahaha please be shure and let us know how this turns out Man, you only read what you want to.......review my post, not once have I bragged about Lumberton red.......you must be bored and can't find anything to do but stir the pot 8)

I was not in that conversation, but what you heard is probably correct. Lumberton white has a bunch of returning players, Lumberton red had 2 returning players........just with that information, who you think would be ready to play sooner? We needed the extra practice time, not a scrimage that would have probably told us what we already know. Besides, the only games that matter happen on Saturday ;D

Did we get caught?? We have been video recording whites practices from an undisclosed Location ;D We have not scheduled a scrimmage with white........but we have with another city. For the record, we do not run whites offense, but we do have a trick or two up our sleeves. We will tell you all about it in week 5

Don't you just hate dealing with peole like that? You never know their true feelings. Yeah, but Dove I aint all that nice! I thought you said you straddle the fence ??? kinda like Central does during district play. That can be painful if you slip ;D

On the surface your correct. I can tell you this, the coaching staff are just as fired up about the underclass men as they are about the seniors. From what they say, "if everything works out, next years team will be better than this year". I keep hearing about the freshman group this year, they are bigger, makes you think about Vidor teams of the 70's and 80's. They just keep coming. That sounds like a Skipper post after spell check ;D

I'm sure Lumberton red would agree to a schrimage with Lumberton White
