Not sure why he would say that the suspect took his taser when in the video footage he went back to the spot where he shot from, picked up the taser, then threw the taser next to the dead body to make it appear the suspect had it, weird.

When cops shoot someone and it's not justified, they are generally charged with crimes. The problem is when it's justified and the media reports differently based on bad information and conjecture.

It's hard to see who's dropping the tazer at the start of the video. If they suspect did, it's possible the cop didn't realize he'd dropped it, shot him, saw it back where they started, knew how it would look, and planted it. But honestly, that's not a defense, just a theory.

Not sure. You'd have a hard time justifying a dead guy with a whole bunch of holes in his back 30 feet from where you're shooting, who the evidence would show was running away, tazer or not.

Go back and read the context.  :)

 

You said that it might not happen in SC but would happen in Ferguson. 

 

With that in mind, the facts didn't stop them (in Ferguson) from protesting the first, second or third times (even after the officer was exonerated) so why would the facts in this case (officer already arrested and charged) stop them this time.

An operating body cam. There was a shooting in STL and Colorado that made headlines because the officers were wearing body cams but the cameras were not working, or so they said.

I do a lot of ridealongs with tvc, and officers are constantly trying to fix cameras and body mics that are malfunctioning. For whatever that's worth to you.
