  1. Didn't someone on here day all 3 gccisd teams were going to the playoffs? Now not a one of them.
  2. Not sure why you're saying good Lord. But I was being a bit sarcastic and trying to make a point that the highlights on Hudl are tough to watch. Every Friendswood Touchdown except for the kickoff return came after a bad snap turnover. it was surreal to watch.
  3. If GCM just completed all of the center and qb or punter exchanges this would have been a 10-0 final looking at the highlights on Hudl. I counted at least 7-8 fumbles or blocked punts based entirely off not completing the exchange to the QB or punter.
  4. Ganders did the best they could. Here's to a better matchup next week.
  5. Lee is about 2 or 3 guys away from being able to compete. Memorial is just too athletic.
  6. Not sure that Lee thought they were tough or that they overlooked them like the Ball announcers said about 20 times in the second half Lee played hard and performed as well as they could and it just wasnt good enough. Ball figured something out in the short passing game and just worked it over and over in big situations. The other teams Lee played hadn't been able to do that. I think a 25 point Memorial win seems reasonable. Lee will need a good 3-4 Memorial turnovers I think to have a chance.
  7. Ball just kept something passes across the middle. Lee had trouble stopping them. Lee fumbled deep in Ball territory in second quarter to ruin an opportunity. 4th quarter they had two drives that just never got going. They don't have a very high powered offense so trying to throw the ball all over the place was counter productive. They usually do it with defense, but they just couldn't stop that Ball quick passing game for whatever reason.
  8. Lee took this one 35-0. Lee has the third best talent pool in Baytown but far and away the best coaching.
  9. #81 is really good. Just a sophomore right? Won't find many games where's he's not the fastest kid on the field.
  10. I didn't make it to that one. King had a player named Michael Stewart (I believe was his name) who went to Lee as a freshman and certainly could have helped Lee that year perhaps get past Humble. He was a linebacker for Lee but ended up as a fullback I believe for King. Very talented player.
  11. Can Atascocita and North Shore hang in there with CE King might be the better question. Best King team since 1995 when they won their first 11 games then lost 7-0 to 16-0 La Marque in the playoffs?
  12. 7-7 at half Lee with five first half turnovers.
  13. TC running back reminds me of Jerald Moore from Yates.
  14. Looked at the highlights of Dayton against GCM and most, if not all, of their touchdowns should have been called back due to men down field. It felt like their entire offense was built around getting away with men down field.
  15. OK but I still don't get it. They should be better than they are. Any other new school anywhere is built because upwardly mobile families are filling out the area and they are almost always good in sports for a period of time. Just seems weird that GCM has had what...two good years in a decade and a half?
  16. I'm not sure why GCM has not been better Usually the newer school always gets a new school bump in output because that's where the upwardly mobile families that care about sports are moving. They also have McNair I am assuming? I would have bet good money on it that GCM would have at least been able to have LaPorte type success let's say. Instead they are no better than Lee or Sterling really over the last decade.
  17. Good job Ganders. Lee doesn't have near the numbers to be a real threat any more, but i think this coach, out of anyone since Olin left, gets the most out of the players.
  18. The two teams Lee beat were not very good, but they also had 33 people on the team. Tough to say without being there to see who is playing where.
