Texas teams need to quit trying to go and play these teams from other states that really recruit like that. DeSoto does a little bit of recruiting I am sure, but they are trying to play teams that put together all star teams of talents.

I don't think it's bad tackling per se. I think the guys for Crawford are too quick to get a good shot on them.

LP has to be happy going into half only down 11. Crawford has dominated the first half. LP will need to really come up with something at half to overcome their extreme deficit in speed and athleticism relative to Crawford.

Speaking of Crosby, the Baytown running back is looking really good for Crosby. GCM could really use him.

I think transferring into BH ultimately cost the last qb NIL money. Would have looked better against the worse competition and likely picked up some higher caliber offers.

Wonder if he's somehow kin to Kenoy Kennedy who I know also went to Arkansas back in the day but was originally from Terrell Texas. Brother to Booger Kennedy who went to UNT. Probably about the age now where they would have some kids or nephews coming along.

And Duncanville put a whipping on SOC this season too. Had them by three touchdowns in the 4th quarter.

Newton had no business losing this game. Even with Wall having 9 or 10 in the box, they still were chewing them up running around the edges. They just ran straight up the middle too often. And even with all that, they out gained Wall by 2 to 1 probably. Trick play and a blocked punt for a TD early and Wall held on for dear life the rest of the way

After one drive it's easy to see if Newton just runs outside the hash marks every play they will get ten yards or more each play. Wall is too slow. The closer to up the middle they run the more probability they might get stopped occasionally.

I think both teams got some questionable calls. There was a defensive pass interference on an earlier 4th down by DeSoto that was missed. That last call was the correct call. SLC gets the absolute most out of all their guys. The last decade they just haven't had enough in there to make it happen. You look at them against DeSoto and try to wonder why they were on paper considered the better team.

I'd have to imagine Randle is the favorite. They won last year. They haven't lost a game in over two years.

These officials are doing all they can to try to drag LT back into this game. Shameful.

I remember they said that about Gilmer and WOS about a decade ago and WOS should have won that if not for a bogus block in the back penalty that completely changed the momentum on the last play of the first half.

Richmond randle makes it tough to root for them. Lot of after the play penalties.

Crazy how far and away Bishop is the best athlete on the field even going up against DeSoto who has a lot of great athletes.

Willis coach dropped the ball by putting Bishop out on an island covering this receiver. Should have been playing in the middle and stopping this run game

This Willis DeSoto game is going to take 10 hours to finish. Officials not taking control of this game. Head coach for DeSoto should have already been ejected probably. Such a strange, completely unhinged vibe from that sideline and team.

I see the video on facebook. 75 definitely kicked him. I don't see anything wrong with a tomahawk chop in their face after a score. Just seems like good old fashioned high school football smack talk to me. If there was harassment post game then that's uncalled for.

I was flipping around amount several games last night. I am surprised they got shutout. In the 10 or so minutes of game time that I was on PNG and SOC they looked even. The qb stumbled on what was a sure TD that would have closed it to 14-7. Then they threw a bad interception a play later. They were moving the ball though any time I flipped it over there.

Here's the thing with this one. Arp couldn't have played may better than they did and they are down by over 30 at the half.

PAM 41 to 13. Weiss was not any good. Honestly not sure how LaPorte bungled that one away.
