This reminds me of Madison vs North Shore in 2001. It's all fun and games until the other team has by far the best player on the field, particularly at QB. The best QB in the nation can cover up a lot of flaws.

They were up 35-0 on Tomball Memorial in the 4th quarter. Is Tomball Memorial mediocre? Memorial scored 72 points in 3 quarters against Klein Cain. Is Cain mediocre? Cain nearly beat Summer Creek the first week of the year. Is Summer Creek mediocre?

I'm going through their Hudl videos to get ideas of who to google. Debraun Hampton has some offers Carter Jenkins has some Josiah Stephens has some Amauree Holmes Could be more but I stopped there.

I keep browsing back through here each day thinking someone else would have started a thread about this matchup. I know it's not exactly in the service area here, but what a game this should be. The best quarterback in the nation going up against the #1 or 2 ranked boundary zone enrollment only football team in the nation. Game of the year in my opinion.

Richland would have trouble beating Baytown Sterling. They are completely undisciplined, can't punt, make horrible decisions on kick returns. They have a lot of athletes on offense, but they are just so undisciplined.

This is without a doubt the sloppiest game I have ever seen in high school football.

Looking at BC historical win loss records. Interesting how HS football goes in cycles. Won 10 or more 4 out of 6 years in the early 60s, then won no more than 5 games for 12 years in a row, starting in 1978 won 10 or more 6 out of 8 years with a state championship mixed in. 1990 through 2000 pretty successful. Five ten win teams and another state championship. Lot of mediocre to poor teams the last two decades. Seems like they could be turning it around again the last few years.

Numbers 1,2,3 and 4 all look pretty dangerous to me..they are all underclassmen as well which is interesting.

Wouldn't read toouch into the district only having one winner. Those Frisco teams are tough. I looked at their Hudl and Richland has a stable of receivers and running backs. Not sold on their quarterback. He needs to really load up to get the ball down the field. I think BH can get some picks this week. Going to be a tough game though.

#13 is committed to SMU I see. That won't last long. I don't have to see his competition to say he's the best receiver in the state and only a junior. Hope Texas gets in on him.

Another good effort by the Ganders. Perhaps if GCCISD could see it in their heart to allow Lee to play in their proper division this next cycle, we may be able to get into the playoffs.

QB is a senior. His name contains a junior which may have made it confusing.

Good effort by the Ganders. Have to be proud of the way they play. Just not enough depth. Too many guys playing both ways and additionally some sloppy stuff like muffing kick off returns and punt snaps. Just not quite good enough. GC needs to let them play down where they belong in division 2 instead of making the Baytown teams stay together. Still an outside shot at playoffs.

Not sure what BH is doing here. Tried quick pass from the 2 yard line and nearly got a 98 yard pick six. The only way Lee could have possible had a chance and they just about gave it to them.

Strange sequence. Lee moved down pretty effectively running the qb then 7 straight timing pass plays all incomplete even with a roughing the passer sprinkled in. Not sure what they were thinking there.

I'll tell you what happened. Lee was moving the. Got an illegal chop block to start over 1st and 25....converted 3rd and like 24 with a 40 yard pass and got a holding call. I felt the officials were pretty fair until that drive. BH is playing absolutely flawlessly without any penalties to be found here.

Officials completely taking over the game here late in the 3rd. Not going to happen for Lee with this type action
