  1. uh huh. Manvel, Hightower, Angleton and Paetow. Take your pick. or Madison, Galena Park and Sterling. FB Marshall being the obvious outlier.
  2. Yeah I meant last year when Paetow beat the fool out of Lee in the playoffs. Would be nice to get a Galena Park or Houston Madison in the first round instead of Manvel.
  3. Thanks for that link. I see now they opted up. What a shortsighted decision by the school district. Certainly robbed Lee of a playoff victory last year. I assume they opted up last time around as well.
  4. Is Goose Creek insisting Lee stay with the other two or what? Likely could have a chance down in Division 2 to win a playoff game perhaps one year but not against the Paetow and Manvels of the world. I feel like that Div 1 to Div 2 might be the steepest drop of any drop in classification.
  5. Oak Cliff - that's my hood - put it in they face - get this %&$@ understood SOC lost by what two TDs to Duncanville for their lone loss of the season. Hardly call this one much of an upset.
  6. Barbers Hill by 17.
  7. Crosby by 35 from what I saw in the Marshall highlights on Hudl.
  8. Marshall struggled to an extent with Galena Park. Lee beat the fire out of Galena Park and Lee isn't that good. I'm just upset I didn't go with my gut and pick a bigger BH victory. Could see this coming.
  9. Dayton would beat Galena Park by 35 minimum. Lee beat GP by nearly 50 points. I think Lee and Dayton are probably in the same ballpark.
  10. None of the games would even be within 4 TDs. Dayton would best Galena Park by 50 if they wanted to and Galena Park is the second place team.
  11. Makes me all the more certain Barbers Hill will best Marshall.
  12. reminds me of that north shore offense back in 1996. Spread everyone out. Run everyone deep. Let ced cormier scramble around and try to make it happen.
  13. Barbers Hill 42 - Marshall 34
  14. Settle down fellas. There's no shame in Manvel having your number. They are a great team in a great district with three teams that all would have beat the fool out of Crosby just like Manvel did.
  15. In defense of the district, no other district would be rolling up the wins either against this particular Manvel district. If we played the HISD district first we'd be 15-1 over the last four years. What's Crosby's record against teams from that district the last four years? 1-3? it's all relative.
  16. would need Ball to lose to Laporte in that scenario for Lee to get in.
  17. Didn't someone on here day all 3 gccisd teams were going to the playoffs? Now not a one of them.
  18. Not sure why you're saying good Lord. But I was being a bit sarcastic and trying to make a point that the highlights on Hudl are tough to watch. Every Friendswood Touchdown except for the kickoff return came after a bad snap turnover. it was surreal to watch.
  19. If GCM just completed all of the center and qb or punter exchanges this would have been a 10-0 final looking at the highlights on Hudl. I counted at least 7-8 fumbles or blocked punts based entirely off not completing the exchange to the QB or punter.
  20. Ganders did the best they could. Here's to a better matchup next week.
  21. Lee is about 2 or 3 guys away from being able to compete. Memorial is just too athletic.
  22. Not sure that Lee thought they were tough or that they overlooked them like the Ball announcers said about 20 times in the second half Lee played hard and performed as well as they could and it just wasnt good enough. Ball figured something out in the short passing game and just worked it over and over in big situations. The other teams Lee played hadn't been able to do that. I think a 25 point Memorial win seems reasonable. Lee will need a good 3-4 Memorial turnovers I think to have a chance.
