[Hidden Content] Look at the attendance maps. Ridge points attendance zone doesn't touch Marshall's at all. What happened was marshall opened, and it was new and everyone wanted to go there, so people that should have been going to Hightower and willow Ridge and probably dulles ended up over there. They were stout for a few years then they fell off. Then a few years ago, they had jw Ketchum who was a sensational talent and helped will them to being stout again. I think what you see now is just the stabilizing of the program after being open for more than a decade.

Marshall did not lose anyone to Ridge point. Ridge point pulled from Hightower and elkins. I think marshall has always had athletes. they probably just have a better group of kids right now and maybe a better coach to pull the best from them.

Crosby has to be feeling good with that score. Marshall had it in the red zone a couple more times to only turn it over on downs. It's still a winnable ballgame for crosby.

I'm from baytown originally, so I have no problem with that side of the river. I don't live next to Ridge point any more either. I just need yall to be a little more humble is all.

But before the game last year, crosby fans were not rattling off how great the ridge point trenches were and how much of an advantage they would have in size. It was simply that crosby would win by three touchdowns because Ridge point no longer had bulmer and the defense wasn't as good as it was the previous year. So, now Marshall doesn't stand a chance. next year it will be Elkins and we all look back and talk about how Elkins doesn't have the same speed in the defensive backfield as Marshall and that's the only reason Marshall won.

But before last years game you felt the same way about ridge point. You Are using revisionist history now to say it was a given that rp was a bad matchup. So, much like you had trouble understanding last year, you are again having trouble this year, albeit for a different reason.

You would think you would learn your lesson after underestimating ridge point. Crosby is going to again struggle with that fort bend type of speed.

Nope. they have some 7a games on YouTube of crosby middle school, which shows them playing baytown junior, Horace mann, gentry and cedar bayou, so I guess an assessment can be made there as to who was the best 7a team.

You are nuts if you think belichick would do anything but win district championships regardless of which team he coaches. East side just doesn't have the athletes to compete with the hwy 6 corridor, just like Ridge point last year.

check out kason martins freshman highlights and notice the receivers he has to throw to. Only one of those is jalen Preston but they all look about the same to me. Now think that they are all going to be juniors next year.

Go look at the manvel hurl roster. Check out the back UPS and what they look like in their limited time. Manvel will have 12 more fbs recruits next year. Keylon stokes, receiver, was a backup. Would have been a star for a regular team. Look at receiver, Bennett, also a junior. Would have been all district playing for a lot of teams. Go look at soph MLB depriest Taylor. Every college in the country will be after him. Alfred Bryant, Tolds boys. They will look remarkably similar next year to this year.

lets not go down this road again. manvel would beat the fool out of Crosby.

what percent of Baytown junior kids go to Lee typically. I noticed last year Baytown junior 8a had several good athletes that I assumed I would see when I went to watch the Lee freshman this year but no dice.
