Thanks for the information bedelmon. Can you give a little more insight into what started clicking once the playoffs rolled around? Just some bad luck in the regular season?  Couple of starters injured hat came back?  Offense started gelling a little more?  Easier competition in the playoffs? :P

Wow.  HISD must be worse than normal. North Forest scored 54+ points in all but one game.  In that game they beat Sharpstown 43-0. Held opponents to 7 or less in all but the game last night in which they won 81-14. Hard to judge though, as they all just seem to play each other. Danbury beat Jones the same way that NF did.  Then Danbury got beat like a red-headed stepchild by Hitchcock. I would guess that North Forest, in truth, is somewhere between a Kingwood Park and a Baytown Lee.

Well, DP is a lot closer to Baytown than it is Rosenberg, so I guess yall got the better end on that regard.

Thursday? What the heck? I'll probably go, but I always sit on the visitor's side in DP.

Speaking of the Rangers, anyone know the name of the Sterling fight song or where I could hear it on youtube?

I hope the Pats make some noise in the playoffs. Maybe they will play here at Hightower high school since that's nearly halfway between Rosenberg and Baytown.  If so, I will try to make it.

Yeah...as a safety. I do. He is a much better safety in my opinion than he is on offense.

Welp.... Very tough year indeed for him. Just hope he finds the right place to go to college. I think he could be a possible pro-level prospect at safety. 

I doubt that the Lee defense is better than Friendswood's defense by any stretch. Lee played without Zellars and Cedeno in the Santa Fe game, so throw that one out. I have no doubt that Friendswood would beat Lee 8 out of 10 times probably, and TC would beat them 19/20.  That leaves that 1% chance that Lee wins them both. Assuming Lee beats FW by 14, then Lee controls their own destiny, and GCM does not....that's all I am trying to get across here.

Never said it was likely. I just said that Lee controls their own destiny. FW had enough trouble with GP and Lee played GP down to a last second fg....so I don't think there is a huge gap between those two if Lee plays up their capabilities. Of course TC is going to be tough to beat.  That's why they play the games.

a three way tie with fw, lee and gcm, fw and lee could have the points.  gcm beat lee by 15, fw beat gcm by 17 if lee beats fw by 14 then lee would be -1 and gcm would be -2, fw +3 not likely that lee wins out either way, but they still control their own destiny in a sense...unless gp somehow beats dawson

Baytown Sun says he and Cedeno both got hurt early in the first quarter. I wonder if they were removed more for precautionary reasons since it was Santa Fe. If Lee can win out then they would probably sneak into the playoffs.

What the heck man. Ball is the worst team I have seen in at least 15 years.

33-7 Dawson wins. Too bad Lee couldn't convert on a couple of those key fourth downs deep in Dawson territory in the first half.  Lee must have gone for 180 yards of offense in the first half with no points to show for it.
