The transfer from Liberty, Robinson, has the top time in the state at the moment in the 200 in 4a. Lee's 800 and 1600 relay are both top 5 in the state in 4a. Nice for Lee to do well in something for the first time in a while.

Man, looks like the Ganders might have the goods this year on the track. Have a top 50 national time in the 1600 relay as of the Clear Creek meet yesterday. Top 15 national time in the 800 relay. Hope they can stay healthy and make Baytown proud this year.

Where did this Dionte Robinson kid come from for Lee? Ran a 10.50 in the 100.  Even if handheld, the next closest was a 10.63 from LaMarque and then everything else over 11.00. Also ran a 21.78 in the 200 to win by over a half second. Looks like after a little research that Robinson played for Liberty last year?  Anyone know anything about him? Lee should be in pretty good position to go to regionals in all three relays the way it looks now.

Jabu you know why gilbert is not running track?  looks like lee would have a state contending 1600 relay team with him in the fold

Wow, great pickups for Incarnate Word.

North Shore is one of the most poorly coached teams in the state year after year.  They can win as long as their talent is a 10 and yours is a 6.  As soon as theirs starts inching down to a 9 and yours a 7, they will run into problems.  When they meet up with someone with as much talent as them.....katy bar the door. They have built their reputation on having an overwhelming advantage in terms of raw athletes.  I have never once seen them exceed what their natural ability could do for them. They have, what...4,000 students?  And they recruit all of the best HISD students on that side of town along with Sheldon ISD and NF ISD. 

Not going to be able to get there early.  I work Friday until 5:15 and that's in the Medical Center area.  Best I could do is 6:30 probably.

So is it for sure going to be in The Woodlands, Friday night? Do you think I should be concerned about it being sold out if I were to just show up at gametime looking for a ticket?

Terry fumbled but they hopped on it. Now 3rd and goal from the 4. They have a chance if they can force a fg attempt.  Terry has been missing pat's all night.

Since the 21-0 lead GCM has had trouble moving much.  They also have not stopped Terry in the least. Terry moving in now. Down to the GCM 1 yard line.

Not looking good.

Sounds like a completely different game since that kickoff return.  GCM was slicing through Terry's defense like nobody's business up until that point.

Appreciate the input Mr. Nobles. I wish there was more footage of this team on youtube.  My Dad always told me the offense was something to watch as well.

Thanks for the information bedelmon. Can you give a little more insight into what started clicking once the playoffs rolled around? Just some bad luck in the regular season?  Couple of starters injured hat came back?  Offense started gelling a little more?  Easier competition in the playoffs? :P

Wow.  HISD must be worse than normal. North Forest scored 54+ points in all but one game.  In that game they beat Sharpstown 43-0. Held opponents to 7 or less in all but the game last night in which they won 81-14. Hard to judge though, as they all just seem to play each other. Danbury beat Jones the same way that NF did.  Then Danbury got beat like a red-headed stepchild by Hitchcock. I would guess that North Forest, in truth, is somewhere between a Kingwood Park and a Baytown Lee.
