Man, this team that Ball is putting out there wouldn't beat a Ball JV team from the mid 90's. It's sad to see.

Don't I know it. My niece goes to Dawson.  Not going to want to talk high school football with her after they finish thrashing Lee.  Manvel proper really doesn't have any neighborhoods, so I guess they end up coming to the Lakes of Savannah or all the way up into Shadow Creek Ranch.  Maybe they even come on down my way and end up going to Hightower or Ridge Point..

That's what I suggested to my wife, but man, that is such a far place to randomly go. I am looking at the map now on Google, and I guess it makes a little bit of sense if they just go straight up HWY 6. Manvel is not too far up the road past Santa Fe.

Where did all of the Galveston County players go? LaMarque is in 3A and seems to be low on athletes.  Ball does not have a single good athlete on the entire team.  TC has a few, but their numbers seem low. I am just wondering who the beneficiary is of all this?

I actually think Gibson is a much better defensive player than offensive...but that still does not explain why he only played one play of defense.

Texas City had over 600 yards of offense according to the Chronicle. I know LaMarque shut them down earlier this year.

Will be the first real game for Lee is what concerns me most.

I was just starting to feel good about Lee, and you have to drop the Tate and Johnson bombshell on me  :'( Lee actually is not entirely bad this year.  Best team since the Jeremy Moses team that should have beaten NS in the playoffs. I bet Ball fans are missing the days of Lawrence Richardson and Marvin Jackson though.  Maybe even a John Humphrey might help them out. They are truly dreadful.  Sam Rayburn would take them behind the woodshed.

Yep gonna be hard to take anything from this game.  Ball is terrible.

Sterling needs to schedule ball. Tors have two first Downs I believe and probably negative yards. Playing some sort of rugby looking offense where they just take the snap and essentially turn it into a Scrum and try to push the pile forward. I'm a big proponent of self-reliance and taking all the blame for one's self too.....however I still think this kid is not comprehending just how much he is screwing up the rest of his life.  God handed him a winning lottery ticket with this athletic ability, and the chance that he will ever have the life that he could have had is a million to one. I was immature at that age too.  The only thing is that I did not have the opportunity to screw up the next 55 years of my life like this kid has.  I only screwed up a few years of my life, and still had just as much chance to reach my potential once I got back on track.  This kid's window on redeeming this lottery ticket he was given is closing quickly.  If he doesn't get it figured out in the next year or two then hang it up.

Wow. This guy needs some sort of family member or authority figure to step in there and explain to him what he is throwing away. He could be in the NFL in 5 years.

And this might be the best North Shore team since their state championship team.  They looked pretty scary in this game against CR.
