Congrats to them for their success. However, PNG has had great success with their first year coach as well. Both teams are climbing.

Don’t know nothing about the kid that was kicked off, other than I’ve heard from several in the community that he was a turd. Two sides to every story.
As far as the Carl Broussard story. CT was a character witness. He can only testify as to what he knew the man to be. I’m fairly confident that CT didn’t condone he’s actions and what he was found guilty of.
I know Broussard personally, myself. He coached at my high school in 1995, and I ran into him over the years. What he did was beyond reproach, but that’s not the person I knew.
To say CT didn’t have morals, and wasn’t a man of a character as some in West Orange want ppl to believe is bull crap. They are reaping what they have sown.

True. WOS has set a standard other programs had to reach to compete. Jasper, Silsbee, HF, LCM and others have been working hard to reach that standard to compete. They are now deserving competitors and not just because WOS is down.

It's a little early, but let's get it started. The Raiders are rolling thru opponents this season, while the Bears have put together a pair of wins and will head to L Town with some momentum. The Bears will have to play their best game of the season to have a chance of pulling off the upset!

I for one was supporting the program and the new hire saying give him a chance. I never imagined such a spiraling meltdown. Here’s some key points.
The new hire was with the program under CT. He must not have been a very good learner. His plan was to change everything that works. At this rate LCM will not be recruiting players. They will be voluntarily lining up. The district has now invested millions into first rate facilities in support of a program that after not even a full season, is no longer first rate. The program has dug a hole that will be difficult to dig out of. I will not criticize Harris for what looks like a poor hire. It happens. How he handles it from this season forward will tell the tale.

He did retire on his own account but I assure that helped his decision tremendously

Last year’s great first season set the bar pretty high. Expectations were very high.
I’m quite certain if you asked Peevey, he would take full responsibility for player flatness, too aggressive play calling, etc. I also think he’s disappointed with the record so far and not blaming it on the players or a lack of talent. You can bet he’s working on improvement now and not looking for excuses.
Matthew’s upped his game after a disappointing start to the season and will continue to through the rest of the season (even though some so called fans were ready to run him out of town.)
Both fan bases need to be patient with their good coaches and support the programs.

Pretty shallow to think ego is the motivation for all HC or AD interests.

mat got a reaction from Chester86 in Why the silence about Trump/NY?
Trump is no saint but less credible is anything that comes out of New York. I don’t care to dig for the facts but since it’s a civil suit I assume there was not much criminal. They are throwing everything at him including the kitchen sink hoping something sticks or sways the voters. They are that scared of him. I’m not a huge Trump fan but I am much more opposed to the liberal base.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to have a victim in a civil case?
If trump did in fact say I think my property is worth 20 million, gets a loan based on that amount and pays it off, I don't see a victim. I see a bank that made interest off of a 20 million loan.
Also, banks don't take customers words on value....if you purchase a house, you, the customer pay for an appraisal, typically up front and it is not rolled in closing. And commercial appraisals are based on size.....they can run into the thousands of dollars....
I hope they throw out this case

Did Kincaid throw the ball around much when yall played them last year? For whatever reason going into our game vs Kincaid I thought they ran somewhat of a spread. I think they threw like 4 passes that night when we played.
They have a healthy(big) O line.
Bell the Notre Dame commit is a good athlete without a doubt and plays multiple positions. In college he gonna play CB and I saw why. Then late in the game he was injured(to what extent I don't know).
I forget the kids name but #22 at RB is needs containment the most. He has a good set of wheels.
The Bears continue playing good football like they have been doing then I don't see them having any issues keeping them from winning

WOS getting smacked down is rare. How they respond will tell the tale. If PNG continues to Improve as they should, they may go far this season.

1-7 to State Regional finalist with one move in who's father was a coach. A healthy Landry and the Bears had a chance to play in Dallas.
To my knowledge there's only been two additions to the varsity roster who were not already on the team the prior year. One was approved locally and the other one was approved by the state. The one that required State approval was signed off by his previous head coach but the local group of coaches abstained from voting hence it had to go to state where it received a 5-0 approval.
I know you're kind of joking but you're kind of demeaning all the hard work these kids put in over the summer and the hundreds of hours of film study and work the coaches have done.
Please don't make unsubstantiated claims. Rumors are like buttholes, everyone has them but these kind stink like Taco Bell. There are a ton of people that lurk on here.
