First off, hats off to SOC.   Players and staff.   What to keep fighting, and show some heart and determination.   Their got their butts physically whipped in the 1st half, and turned the tables.

Great season to PNG.   IMO, that was a winnable game, and they will ask themselves a million “what-ifs”.   3rd and 18 towards the end of the 1st half, that led to the touchdown, changed the whole complexion of the game.   That play, and the ensuing TD pass, gave SOC the momentum they needed.

The moment got too big for PNG, they made uncharacteristic mistakes, and SOC played like the veteran team they are.

All that being said, can’t believe SOC won back-to-back.   They underwhelm me when I watch them.   And I’ll get grief over this, but I think it’s lack of coaching….. mainly on the offensive side of the ball.   Defensively, they are sound.   Unbelievably fast and athletic.   Having 7 D1 kids helps.   Makes you wonder, when they don’t have as much talent, will they look as good?   Offensively, they lack creativity…. Majorly.    It’s basically just, “we are gonna out athlete everyone”.   Big, slow, sloppy offensive line.   Suspect QB, that has freak 6’4” athletes to throw it up too.

PNG just didn’t have the horses to win it, but they competed great.  If they had some athletes in the secondary that coulda matched up with SOC, they woulda won the game.

Great win for SOC, and those kids though.

    Sums it up pretty well

Completely out of curiosity from a different perspective, what if the officer had never given any warning and shot the moment he saw the guy slice the pie or take a what appeared to be a classic barricade/cover position?

I wondered the same thing. You probably know better than me but there’s legal verses reality. An immediate shot could be justified but questioned without warning. However, the fact that a warning was given without the opportunity to comply could be questionable in court as well.

  3. Never ever did I suggest forcing religion or Christianity on anyone. Earlier you ask what Christian values I was talking about. Marriage between a man and woman, abortion, the Bible and prayer in schools, the list goes on. Or course you already know this so I’m not sure why you ask the question unless it’s to further the debate.

The 10 Commandments are part of all Abrahamic beliefs or what is sometimes called The Three Great Religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

The video, while probably factually correct, is nonsense.

For example, an Italian explorer was hired by a Spanish Queen to sail west and he was a Catholic like virtually every person in Italy. So 500 years ago, 300 years before the US Constitution was written, an Italian hired by Spain prayed on his arrival in the Indies and that is proof of Christianity in the US founding? Two countries that ended up having no part in the founding of the US?

The guide points out paintings on the wall depicting events from the 1600s? If nothing else from his explanation you might conclude that the US was founded as a Catholic nation. I wonder how that will be perceived by the protestants. Sorry Baptists, this is a Catholic nation!

But wait! A president was a preacher! Of course that was 100 years after the founding of the US but let’s ignore that for now. I guess Jimmy Carter is evidence that the nation and the presidents were founded on peach farming.

The Founding Fathers were deeply religious…. and rejected relgion as any kind of requirement for laws or office. Were stealing, lying, murdering, etc., mentioned in the 10 Commandments as well as common law through world history? Absolutely. I will bet you find that other kingdoms in Asia and Africa who did not practice Christianity, had the same common laws

As I said, I’m no history buff. However, our country continues to veer away from Christian values and (my opinion) head deep per into moral decline. For those that like the direction we are going then just sit back and enjoy the ride because the best/worst is yet to come. If you don’t like the direction the country is going, can we just blame it on politics? No, it’s bigger than that.

one doesn't need the bible to know that these are wrong, and Christianity is not needed to create laws against them.  Do you see no difference between these crimes that hurt people, vs. allowing two consenting adults to get married?

By what morally authoritative measure do we determine murder, theft, drug or alcohol abuse, incest, etc. are wrong? Man's wisdom? Right and wrong has to start somewhere above our own human conscience. As I said earlier, believer or non-believer, we will have the opportunity to explain our case before God all mighty. Do you think you will be so confident at that time?

This country was not based on Christianity. Certainly the members of the Continental Congress were deeply religious Christians.

I'm no history buff, however it would be hard for our deeply religious founding leaders to not lead with Christian values. The signs are there, In God we Trust, So help me God, Ten Commandments in government buildings, etc. All of which are slowly being removed. Depends on who we listen to.

David Bailiff just became available… he would be a major upgrade with lots of Texas connections. The only downfall is he is up there in age and in a few years Lamar would be looking for a head coach again but he could get Lamar going and start winning rather quickly.

Any successful coach would be short term anyway. They would be moving on.

Alright everyone, I have posted a lot stuff about the vaccine but this hard hitting documentary is a must see. Take the time to watch the whole documentary if you can stomach some of the scenes. They can be a little gruesome. Feel free to share this with everyone. There is a Evil vs Good battle that has been going on.

I watched the whole thing. I never put full credibility into any conspiracy theories. The documentary appeared to have a lot of factual content but I don’t ever trust those connecting the dots. Anything can be claimed with apparent factual content. With that being said, it was very alarming and could very well be credible because I never trust our government. The narrative certainly falls inline with much of what I’ve seen or thought.
