Read my post again. If people really thought this was true, the Epstein thread wouldn’t have died like it did. You didn’t demand a release for over 4 years. It something that gets people anxious. All you Musk haters are now on board with him. What loyalty to your party.

Not loyal to any party. The dems may not have called Trump out because too many dems would have to fall as well.

  2. I have no problem saying I agree with Musk. We continue to over spend with no intent to reduce. Trump used Musk and told the American people we were going to reduce wasteful spending and reduce fraud to help balance the budget. Musk took the hit while trying to accomplish something that wasn’t the real goal. He got played. Trump had no intent to reduce.

Joking with my wife a few hours ago and told her I was going to get me an E-bike. She just told me she wished I hadn’t said that because the ads on her FB are all E-bikes. Coincidence????

    Happens all the time

It was not targeting the jeepers IMO - it was targeting everyone......and I looked at the arrest mugshots on Galveston County page....NONE of those folks looked like Jeepers,,,,,and they were arresting folks for no seat belts, brake lights out and cracked windshields.....among other more serious crimes

Most Jeepers are not the problem. It’s the other idiots looking for a party.

There were more than 400 officers used this weekend on the Bolivar Peninsula, not counting EMS, the paddy wagons, etc..... They had check points at both ends of the peninsula, checking every vehicle for any traffic violation.  I imagine that is costing Galveston County a pretty good chunk of change. I doubt the revenue from the tickets will put a dent in it.

They sure sent a message. I'm a law abiding citizen for the most part. I always have a valid ID, well maintained vehicle and proper insurance. I do speed occasionally, understanding the risk and knowing I may receive a ticket. However, when I go to the beach for relaxation, I don't want to wait in line 1 to 2 hours to basically prove I'm doing nothing wrong....or get a ticket because I didn't realize a license plate light was out......

There were 275 arrest........52 were felony charges, the rest misdemeanors..... I would like to see the number of "warnings" they gave....my guess, not many if any at all.

I totally back the blue, always have, but I feel this was an over the top response to trying to fix a problem.

If I was going to relax at the beach, it would not be during Jeep weekend.

  6. I’ll say it. His buddying up to the Middle East makes me nervous. Most hate us, some quietly. I hope it works to our benefit in the long run. There’s a chance he may not be the smartest in that room, not to mention the most cut throat.

it also looks like he’s distancing from Israel. I don’t think Netanyahu is happy.

Meanwhile, the 2-year-old's father tried to petition the court to have the child's legal custody temporarily transferred to a relative who is a U.S. citizen.

You’ve made this statement twice. Please provide a link. Other recent posters have provided a link to support their claims.

True, and the mothers had that “choice”. They decided to take their kids with them. All you bleeding heart liberals are good at singling out one instance to harp on while showing no feelings at all for a murdered American woman. How pathetic can you get?

That’s the way I understand it as well. Technically the children were not deported. The parents chose to bring them.

However that doesn’t not make it any less sad for the innocent children. It is a sad situation even if it’s justified.

Just take a look at what’s happening with cargo coming into our west coast ports. Or not coming in, as it were.

It’s the New Golden Age (don’t forget to stock up on toilet paper).

If it turns out in a few weeks that we’re dealing with pandemic-like shortages based on Trumps Willy-nilly tariff debacle, he won’t have any place to hide.  Neither will his supporters.

China is about to put the hurt on the USA.  “Nuh uh! They need our money!” Wrong  they’ve still got plenty of our money, and especially not when we have to keep sending piles of cash their way, not for consumable goods, but to repay the loans that they’ve already made to us.

And if we default it will destroy our economy.  How’s that retirement check gonna handle $100 for a loaf of bread?

My opinion is that we’re in a bad spot.  How soon can we expect trump to announce that somebody… ANYBODY is willing to make a trade deal with us? So far the tariff policies have resulted in exactly zero agreements.  They aren’t blinking, so Trump paused them for 90 days.

We’re in an exceptionally bad spot.

    I think that’s what’s important to note.

It’s important to remember that Herbert Hoover, Jimmy Carter, and Joe Biden all won elections, too. It’s okay to say “yeah, I voted for him, but this isn’t working out like he said it would-it’s a little concerning.”

It’s the ones who say “oh, none of this matters… Trump won and this is all his plan. Art of the Deal!” Those are the guys who just don’t have any sense.

I have enough sense to not base Trumps term on his first 100 days. I also have enough sense to say I could change my mind in time.
