Reading this thread and the other wos vs png thread.   There has been alot of excuses and backpedaling comments instead of png just dominated line of scrimmage all night.  The ones that making excuse of new coach/ new system at wos.   Png is in same boat. New o and d after 13 years 

Tonto looks like he’s going to be collecting some scalps this year. Very nice win by the Indians. Coach Joseph looks like he might be bringing daddy’s defense to town. 

Why would a defense that gave up 81 total yards be “lacking” in confidence? On the contrary. PNG D better not be overconfident in practice this week. WOS is a different beast. 
I will say that was the best pursuit and tackling I have seen from PNG in years.

you've been (ineffectively) beating this dead horse for months.  PNG DOES NOT have the talent to win a state championship in 5A, HAS NOT HAD the talent to win it in 5A, and WILL NOT be getting the talent to win a state championship in 5A.  Bellichek isn't winning a state championship if he comes down from New England to coach them.  Nobody is blaming the kids or the coach.  It's reality.  Now lets get back on topic.  

I bet it's moot also......

They return 25 starters on both sides of the ball, it shouldn't be that hard. 😁

Two things for sure:
1. Katy, SLC and Westlake. The guy should know how to win. Add up the State titles between them. WOW
2. Gary Joseph, Todd Dodge and even Riley Dodge. Not a bad group of coaches to hit up for advice!

Klubnik is the #155 player right now in the country on 247 Composite. It will be interesting to check back on that in a few weeks.

I was a Ewers bandwagon but man Klubnik should have UT, A&M and every other college salivating right now...Give me Klub with the mobility  

Imo, Klubnik’s mobility gives him the advantage.

Ewers is the #1 player in the country for next year.  He’s got elite arm talent, but doesn’t look comfortable under pressure.
 
Klubnik is only a 4 star and #3 QB in the state.  He’s a better football player right now and should rise up the rankings.  I’ve been impressed with his game the last few weeks.

Slot T will usually mask a lack of overall talent top to bottom with precision blocking and deception, but what I have noticed at the 5A and 6A level it usually only gets you so far before you meet a group that is just as disciplined and will slow them down, make them get out of their comfort zone and pass a lot more. Fact is once you get this deep the teams are all very sound, disciplined and do the little things correctly. Then it's no longer about scheme as much as it is about talent. I got Crosby with the W.
