Lawman great question. You have to start with not looking at life as if all things are fair. There are many people of color who have been passed over, mistreated, done wrong by someone white and nothing is done. If you see wrong or injustice stop being silent. If you see someone being mistreated at work by a cop speak up. Understand there is a such thing as white privilege. Understand that a person of color is 80% higher to to be pulled over by the cops for no reason. When you hear people making racist comments or jokes, speak up against it. It's not that African Americans want something for free. We just want the playing field to be equal. We have to work 3x as hard as someone of the opposite color. Understand that all black people arent the same. The news will show the most ignorant person they can find. Seek information to understand what black people have been thru. Segregation is only like 60 years ago. Imagine your culture was enslaved, beat, rapped, and killed just to be seen as a HUMAN! You can start with your house hold by telling your kids that no matter the color or background, treat people with respect. Have you even been in a department store and been followed? Been to a car dealership and the 1st thing they wanna know is what you do? Stopped by an officer pulled out of your car and racially profiled. Being black is very difficult when you wake up every day and know the playing field are fair. It's like starting a football game in the 1st qtr before the kickoff being down 42-0. Befriend someone of the opposite color and understand their views.
I truly appreciate your honest response. It is and has been frustrating for all parties. The initial response is to lash out and try to justify. It all starts with me.
If I have said or done anything to offend you, I want to apologize and I ask for your forgiveness. It may not be much but if we pay it forward just maybe, just maybe we can effect change. -

Same reason Trump in the White House.
Mr. Badsanta, how do we address some, I know we can’t address all but where do we start? Not talking politics just every day dealing with our neighbor, Coworker etc. what are some of your concerns and or dislikes that we actually talk about.

You’re right... I should have used the adjective “some” or even possibly “most.” It makes me no better than those that say all White people are racist or all white people benefit from privilege and the oppression of others.
Why does this guy still have a job on a national news channel?
It’s about time to stop pretending that the left hasn’t already declared war on you and I.
This cnn guy in my honest opinion gets paid to stir the pot. I often wonder why he never talks about positive things that are happening around us. I would really like to have real dialogue and try and understand why are you and I judged on past history that we played no part in. My brother served time in prison but his mishaps don’t become mine. I moved on and I am living life as God intended . Renaming mascots buildings and etc. is not going to save lives are bring anybody back. History cannot be rewritten but we can make change. Keep living and we may have a testimony about how God brought us out of a ungodly conditions.
My life matters!!

This is how stupid the conversation has gotten.
Plessy v Ferguson established “Separate but Equal” as a doctrine in 1896 that allowed for segregation in the US to continue up until Brown vs the Board of Education (1954) forbid the practice because it’s apparent that black kids get inferior educations in all-black schools.
In 2020, blacks are so IGNORANT of their own past and what was fought for on their own behalf that y’all are now advocating “separate but equal.”Either that or you’re so blinded by racial hatred that you don’t care if your student athletes end up with a second rate education, as long as they play for an all-black school, just to “show Whitey.”
Either position is indefensible.
In 2020, blacks are so IGNORANT of their own past and what was fought for on their own behalf that y’all are now advocating “separate but equal.”
THIS^^^
It’s hard take you serious when you speak as if all black people are ignorant. STOP it. That alone is offensive.I am offended when I am lumped in with all bad law enforcement officers. Try a different approach or quit beating around the bush and just say that you have a problem with all people of color. I have much respect for anybody that speaks how they truly feel in the front and not behind ones back. (Flip flopping) I have a better understanding of who I am dealing with when the individual is up front. No love lost or feelings hurt. I may not like you and you may not like me but at the end of the day we will respect one another.
I know all people of color are not hateful or evil. I work side by side among the finest men of valor and honor whom I would lay down my life for. I don’t care that there skin color is different than mine.I don’t live in southeast Texas and I won’t judge it based off what I have heard from this message board. I refuse to lump all of you in one category. It’s just wrong and there no place for it.
I believe you had a bad experience growing up in PAT (sorry if I got wrong) and it must to have been rough and we may never know but your true feelings show.

I've been told most hospitals normally operate at about 80-85%. Anything less could lose money. Although I don't see how with hospital bills costing so much.
We are sad to report that, as of July 8, there have been 139 law enforcement officers that have died in the line of duty due to COVID-19.

This is why I think we’re going to have to settle our differences with violence. It’s getting to the point where we just aren’t going to be able to exist together.
For weeks and weeks we’ve seen vandalism of monuments. We’ve seen private property covered in graffiti by “peaceful protestors.” We’ve seen innocent people beaten by mobs. Stores have been looted all across America. Minneapolis is asking for $55 million federal dollars to repair damage caused by rioting in that city alone.
Somebody painted over a “black lives matter” sign on the roadway and they’re now charged with a hate crime.
White people and conservatives need to decide if they want to fight or sew a yellow star their shirts. There’s not much else that can be done, I’m afraid.
Violence only shows ignorance. I treat others how I want to be treated. Down here in the Deep South, there is no one race. Interracial families are the norm. The younger generations have excepted change. It’s us old school generations that won’t except change. I too am guilty because it was hard for me to except change. I learned that love conquers all.

Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. ... We lovebecause he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
Racism does exist. It is mean, dishonest, disloyal, arrogant, violent, a liar and the truth is not in it.
It is time to let it go and Let GOD! -

-Why is the DEMONcrat party, the liberals, antifa and blm teaching the world that being a criminal and being violent is ok?
-Why is it ok to burn buildings and deface, or destroy, property that tax payers provide?-Why is it ok to attack people who do not agree with a certain belief or movement?
-Why am I considered racist if I say all lives matter or human lives matter?
-Why is there a war on police, regardless of the color of their skin?
Everything that is going on in this so called movement is based on criminals and/or criminal activity. Why is this ok with some people?
The message is simple. The Lord is speaking to all. Get your houses in order. No man knows the hour or the day but we know he is coming back. The why? Is will you be ready?

But if it starts to get bad we shut it down.
Just have to be vigilant.

Then are you saying that it is a personal decision rather than a governmental one?
I believe what smash mouth is saying. their is no right or wrong answer. I(we) may get offended but I still have a choice whether governmental or not.

I thoroughly respect your decision with your child. You have that right. I have another perspective though. My son is 17. He is at a much lager risk of being harmed in an auto accident than practicing sports. Yet, we still allow our Teens to drive. Do the best you can to protect your family the way you see fit and I think you have done your job.
At what point do you say it’s not safe. Yes, I understand what you are saying about teens driving.
The possibility of the child bringing a virus home to anyone young or old in his/her family is a strong possibility. I know a 28 yr. old Female Law Enforcement Officer from Atlanta who had no underlying conditions and died from the virus.
I would be more opened if their was a cure. No parent should loose a child.I do respect your decision as it pertains to your kids.

Honestly I think people need to be extremely careful when going out, but I think if it's OK to protest then it's OK to rally.
And in general, I think most are smart enough to stay safe.
I'm not going out to either though
Does it bother you to see some people in the public who refuse to ware a mask?
what are your thoughts on businesses requiring you to ware a mask before entering? In parts of Columbia, it has come to that. Fights have broke out in stores because some people refuse to wear a mask.

True, but not knowing until after the fact makes is painful to me as a parent. What are your thoughts about high school sports in today’s society?

Young man had no underline conditions.
How do we shelter (protect) our young ones who are passionate about sports. Are we as parents willing to allow them to take the risk. Here in South Carolina we are experiencing a upward spike. My son is a athlete and wrestled in high school. I have not allowed him to participate because I want to keep him safe, alive and well. I will protect him with my life. -

Shouldn’t have any problem getting video of the event.
Watch entire video. CNN, And Fox both are fake news. Will say and do anything to sales story. I remember CNN weather reporter airing live on tv fighting hurricane winds to show viewers how powerful the hurricane winds were. Young people enter the frame from behind walking normal.
I only trust local news.
It’s sad how the news we all view is actually the root of most evil.
